Conveniently located in city centre

Posted Jan 15, 2017
Friendly welcome from staff in pub and at reception. Building consists of an assembly of multiple buildings resulting in stairs and steps. Exposed beams and sloping floors add to the character. Not recommended for handicapped. Comfortable and clean room with some noise from pub below. Cold and full cooked English breakfast. 100m from Worcester Cathedral and 300m from the Royal Worcester Museum.

It is good place in the centre of the town. It was a little bit over price.

Convenient location

Pros: It was old.The staff were nice and the location was good.
Cons: Breakfast could really be improved. Most times the fresh fruit salad was nor available.
Was really terribly noisy, both from traffic noise just outside the window, the pub underneath and the paper thin walls making it seem like a party in my room.Every person walking outside my door creaked and made the door rattle so I was scared I was being invaded.Did not sleep at all well because of this. Breakfast could have been improved.

Location: Very close to everything,cathedral,shops,restaurants
Good sized room, lovely breakfast.Bit noisy at night but you are in the centre of the city so that should be expected. No lift and no car parking.

Good location

Very good. A lot to see and do in Worcester. The hotel was very convenient for the city with car parking next door. We enjoyed the range of choice at breakfast time. Wifi was a bit weak and we would have preferred twin beds rather than a very small double.

Comfortable lodgings in good location

Posted Oct 13, 2016
Location: Very close to shops, Visitor Information Centre, eateries and transport, and there's a cinema just across the road.
The room was as described and quite spacious, with a comfortable bed and all facilities in working order. The breakfast bar and cooked breakfast included in the tariff were a real bonus, though the wait staff could have been more on the ball at times. Although the building is a bit of a rabbit-warren, that's all part of its age and character. The residents' stairs could do with a good cleaning if only to improve first impressions.
