Central location large outside area at rear could be a bit noisy in summer evenings for those who are staying in the cottage. "Delayed on the M6 for 9 hours and finally arrived. Service from first contact was incredible. Rang and told reception we were stuck on the M6 and concerned the room wouldn't be held to be reassured and not too worry. Arrived and gentleman came to the reception after 11.30pm at night to give us our room key with no issues. Room clean and tidy . Refreshments left. Staff in the hotel were polite , had a good banter and the food was delicious. we come here every year for a caravan stay and or long weekends away. Never disappointed."
