“I arrived at around 2.30pm after a long train journey and wanted to shower and change before going to lunch and then a concert. I was told my room was ready but that hotel policy wouldn't allow me to check in until 3pm. I had to change in the bar toilet. On my return to the hotel at around 10.30pm (the night of England v Mexico) the bar was shut, ridiculous. I was then allocated a room where they said my luggage was and surprise surprise, it wasn't in the room. Because they don't have phones in……
