Very nice room. Comfortable, but the bathroom could certainly use some brighter lighting. Difficult to see enough to apply makeup. Nice breakfast and helpful, friendly folks at the front desk.

Great hotel if traveling with dogs.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed, good breakfast, and very pet friendly. Only suggestion is to reupholster or get new chairs in breakfast area. Staff very helpful.

Handheld shower heads

I wish hotels would put hand held shower heads in the bathroom. All hotels should do away with tubs. No one is going to sit in a public tub or put their child in one.

Very Pet Friendly

This is very convenient when traveling through. Great for dogs. Good and helpful service and a decent breakfast.

Older hotel..upgrades needed

Older hotel..in need of updating~but clean. Although pet friendly..area for dogs was not cleared..disgusting. I understand that those with pets should be responsible for cleaning up after their pets..the hotel should make an effort to keep the area clean. I mentioned this to the front desk and was told it would be taken care off. A few hours later when my dog needed to use the area..nothing had been done. I mentioned the difficulty of walking in this area to a manager~he said it was due to prior weather.. In the evening I saw a young man cleaning up a few areas..but certainly not caring..leaving it still impossible to walk with your dog thru the area designated for dogs.

Fortunately, most of our guests are diligent about picking up after their pets and our Team is mindful to ensure that the area is kept up. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, a covering of snow had prevented us from performing the usual maintenance in this area for several days prior to your arrival. We take all guest concerns and feedback very seriously and upon hearing your input, members of our Team did work to correct the problem as quickly as possible. Clean & friendly hotel

Very welcoming staff. We usually stay at another brand of hotel that charges $25-$75 for car to stay. This hotel is really pet friendly as they charge nothing to extra for pet. It is nothing fancy, but all needs are met and hotel and rooms are clean!

Pet friendly and clean

Loved there was no extra charge for pets and there were a lot of areas for them to roam and go to the bathroom. Hotel was very clean and conveniently located right off of I-77.

Nice hotel. Clean and staff was welcoming.

Pros: Nice decorating and pretty bathrooms. Rooms are in the outside and they had a special parking area for those who were pulling trailers.
Location: Not much of a location but a good stopping place for me on way from Fl to Pa.
Rooms very clean and modernized. Great temperature control and lots of pillows to choose from. This makes it nice for me since I have spinal issues and can only sleep on a pillow of a certain height as to not raise my neck too high. I always love the biggest asset to me which knowing that my two dogs are always welcome without a special charge. Prices are always reasonable and no matter where I travel my two pups are always welcome. Also great selection at the breakfast bar.

Satisfied, Repeat Customer

Pros: Hotel is clean, attractive, and apparently well-managed. Our room was comfortable, clean and QUIET. Adequate, well-tended spaces outside to walk our dog is also a plus for us. Great Mexican restaurant nearby.
Cons: It's located on top of a high hill, along a very busy road, which makes walking anywhere difficult. On the plus side, it's top-of-the hill location puts it well-away from the traffic noise.
Location: Downtown Wytheville is charming. There's a community college nearby with a wonderful walking path, where we can exercise our dog.
