Not for Europeans

Arrived at check in to be told they had no reservation for us. we are business travellers so are equipped for these situations they eventually found the booking if it was a family or elderly travellers it would have been very distressing for them. Cosmetically pleasing but not for Europeans .

William the doorman was awesome. Clean hotel. Good atmosphere, restaurants was nice too.

Pros: Location was easy to get around and taxis waiting out the front.
Cons: Staff couldnt really understand English very well. But they did try hard. I didnt have any problems.
Stayed there for 7 nights on a business trip. Top tip ask for a room on the fifth floor then you get high tea in the afternoon and breakfast in the sky view lounge on the 6th floor. This is much nicer than the one on the ground floor.

The seaview resort offers a superb breakfast equivalent to a large dinner which for business people would be more appropriate if they charged a small amount for a working breakfast and offered the large meal free either at breakfast or lunchtime or evening giving the business person more flexibility.

V. nice resort in Southern China

Very nice, very new resort. Has a feel of a southern calif. resort very near the beach. It is a little bit away from downtown, but it is easy to get around in Xiamen. I will definitely go there again. I hear that when gov't officials stay there, they cancel all other reservations - sometimes with little notice. We did not have this problem, but several told us about this.

Pros: 部屋がきれいだった
Location: 周辺には買い物をするところもあまりなく、ホテル内でとどまるのであればOKだが、それ以外にはあまり遊ぶ場所がない印象。
朝食はとてもおいしかった。しかし、英語を話せるスタッフが少なく対応に苦慮することがある。宿泊者にはアフタヌーンティーなどの無料提供があることを教えてもらったが、それもたまたまで、通常はチェックインの時に教えてくれるものだと思うが、そこまでのサービスはなかった。

ダニ?

Pros: 特に無いが、強いて挙げれば景色のはず。(シービューだったが、宿泊期間中ずっと雨で景色が良く見えなかった。)
Cons: 特に言いたいのは、ダニor蚤対策のルームクリーニングと玄関前のタクシー乗り場の従業員へのホスピタリティー教育を望む。
初日は無事寝れたが、2日目の朝にシーツ交換をしたのに3日目の朝起きたら10か所以上も虫(痕から判断するとダニ?)に刺されたため旅行中痒くて困った。こんなホテルは初めて! 正面玄関前のタクシー乗り場の案内人はホスピタリティーの心が無いというか不親切な人間に二人も出くわしたし、梅雨寒(22℃程度)だったので少し室温を上げたかったが、エアコンの温度調節が効かず困った。
