Okay Hotel

Not a bad place but it really is just so-so. For the price I guess you can't complain. Location is really good easy to find

You get what you pay for

The beds are rock hard and the walls are paper thin with a picture on the wall as a window :) the people at the desk could not speak English but we managed to check in. The swimming pool at the hotel is a public pool so when you leave your room you can smell and hear the people in it. They offer food, washing box with shampoo conditioner bits in and adult extras in the room all at an extra cost with the price on them. Along with free shampoo shower gel toothbrush and comb. the address from this sight isn't very helpful to getting to it. We asked a taxi driver how to get there and he didn't know where it was by the address he phoned the hotel to get directions for us. Bit of a walk in to the main town (bell tower) but you can get the number 36 bus across the road to get there quicker The room was so cheap any little niggle was over turned as we only paid 10 pound a night

Filthy rooms. Bad location. No English

Posted Jul 15, 2015 on Hotels
The carpets were super filthy. The room had no windows, unless you count the picture of a window, with curtain and all! Staff were not particularly friendly, and didn't speak English. The hotel is really far away from any attractions (at least 30 minutes by taxi), and taxi drivers tend not to know where the hotel is. Oh yeah, and it costs about $8USD per swim in the pool. Don't stay here.

Dirty. Terrible location. No windows.

We endured our 7 day stay, and the low price provided some comfort. But every night we dreaded going back to our dirty, dark, internetless hotel room. The room had no window, and the light only provided the room with a shadowy gloom. We paid a deposit for wifi, but the internet worked only 1/10 of the time anyway. The staff spoke no English, we had all our conversations in Chinese. It costs around 40 yuan per swim. The carpet in the room was FILTHY. After a few days of the cleaning staff "cleaning" our room, we had to actually ask them to please use the vacuum cleaner. When we first came into the room, there was a used condom packet next to our bed. We finally had to pick up and throw it away ourselves. We had to pay a 200yuan deposit, for in case we managed to leave the room in a worse condition than we found it. The room cards were basically useless. They would work once, and then they would fail to unlock the door. Every. Single. Time. Our toilet leaked, and there was always a puddle in the bathroom because of it. We didn't even bother complaining about this. Location: cabs don't know where the address is. They don't know where Jinyuan hotel is either. And this is a problem, since the hotel is so far away from the subway or anything worth seeing. We took cabs every day. The money you save by staying at this hotel will be spent on taxis back and forth, and on coffee at places with working internet.

Exceeds expectations

Nice location, close enough to bus stop and 30 mins to subway station. Close to some restaurants and convinience stores too. Room was comfortable for the price which was 100RMB per night. Would recommend for people who enjoy a little more distance.
