Nice location near the shopping centres.

Pros: Overall it is so nice and comfortable.
Location: The location is very good near the local restaurants, local market and shopping centres.
I have been before in Hilton Guangzhou, I think they have an excellent services.

Good value for money

We came to Xian with one purpose- to see Terracotta Warriors. Hotel was reasonable standard Hilton so met our needs for 2 days. Not sure if worth paying more for higher end hotels. Recommend you turn left out of hotel and walk down to city wall - you will see ‘real’ Xian! Beware of pollution- photos are all correct and then some. Best not to be outside more than a couple of hours.

Pros: Staff definitely
Cons: Bed mattress.
Location: Great. Walking distance to touristic areas.
I travel to many countries and stayed in many hotels. Xian Hilton had the BEST staff of all. Xian as a touristic place requires guidance, patience of the staff to explain to foreigners, and they went beyond and above to make sure I did the right things, the proper way and visited the places according to my needs. I cant thank you them enough. PS: Always happy and smiling. Fantastic

Not a 5 star hotel

Nice staff, but it’s definitely not a 5 star hotel. The room is very run down and it smells like cigarette, even though we were assigned a non smoking room. There was a government event going on and all guests were subject to security check to get in the property, which was kind of bothersome.

I would like to sincerely apologize we have not meet your expectation with our hotel. Hilton Xi'an has opened for 6 years. We really appreciate our staff and quality guests for taking good care of the hotel during the period. The hotel is not a non-smoking property, we have smoking area at 1st and 9th floor. We have also put many non-smoking signs in rooms and public area, as well warning guests upon check in. Your point about the smoky room has been passed to operations and worked out well in the end. Once again, thank you very much for raise those issue, the team will be very happy to work through the relevant points! We wish to welcome you again in the near future!

We had to switch rooms a few times. We reserved 2 rooms and wanted one adjoining or near our kids. When rooms opened up the next night, they helped us move. We requested that housekeeping open the adjoining door but they never showed up. We gave up. Room service was prompt and the food pretty good. We had to call a few times before room service picked up our dirty dishes. We had difficulties with wifi connection and speed. The hotel tried to assist by providing a separate connection (thanks Jason) but still was either very slow or didn't connect. Beds were comfortable.

The service was just wonderful. The hotel porter was amazing. He checked us in, noticed that our taxi had overcharged us and offered to report him, set up a private tour for us, and seemed like just a lovely person. He went above and beyond. The folks in the restaurant were also very polite and helpful, and the food was tasty. The room was also great -- clean, stylish, with a great bathroom. I'd totally stay here again.

Good location and an easy walk to activities within the city walls. We used the spa at the hotel. Expensive but beautiful experience.
