Affordable Downtown Location

My second time stay here. Good location and affordable. Room is typical IBIS style worldwide. Basic, don't expect too much.

Near to Shopping

Posted Feb 27, 2017 on Hotels
Just a night stop. Location was quite good near shopping areas of downtown Shanghai. But hotel a little dated. And toilets did smell a bit properly due to prolong use and old pipes.

Cheap and comfortable hotel in Xujiahui area

Posted Feb 27, 2017
Pros: The price is cheaper compared with what we've got
Location: The hotel is located in walking distance to Jiao Tong University subway and close to many restaurants and convenient stores
The hotel is fully equipped and quite comfortable.

Mind Refreshing With No Rip Off

Posted Nov 22, 2016 on Hotels
Ibis especially in China is always a good choice from the value for money perspective and the Shanghai property is not an exception: Very friendly staff, reasonable room size, satisfactory cleanness and peaceful ambience to rest after always a full day in Shanghai. The bathroom is capsule type, but adequate for its purpose, though the water pressure on 3rd floor was a bit reluctant. Three MTR stations nearby, 10 minutes by walk each, quite convenient to quickly reach other parts of French area to chill during rush hour. Overall, good stay and will repeat definitely!

Great value, great hotel

Posted Sep 21, 2016 on Hotels
a great value for the foreign traveler. I lost my cell phone, and the front desk staff went out of their way to locate it at a restaurant and taxi..English proficiency is excellent. The hotel rooms are immaculate and spacious. Highly recommend it for English-speaking guests who want to stay in the Jaio Tong university area.

Little hard to find there. Other is good.

In fact, it is located at Huaihai Area, not Xujiahui. It takes 15mins from hotel to Jiaotong University metro station by walk.

convenient to Local

Posted Jun 29, 2016
If you need something convenient to this area of Shanghai, it's clean and serviceable. Beds are typical of Asia which is very firm. Friendly helpful staff. Small pod type bathroom similar to that on a cruise ship. We were there due to our son attending the local SJTU so it was convenient. Great local food nearby.
