Convenient and clean hotel

Posted Sep 29, 2016 on Hotels
Good location, 10 minutes from Xujiahui metro, and 15 minutes from Jiaotong University metro. Very clean, modern rooms with hard beds, but strong wifi. They also provided two complementary water bottles daily.

Good location for university

Posted Jun 7, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel is conveniently located to the nearby Jiaotong University. In fact, there are no other hotels at this price category with such easy access to the campus and it's facilities.

Nice hotel for the money

Posted Apr 16, 2016
Pros: Guest parking lot provided
Cons: The wifi is terreable, almost impossible to get an ip to log in, especially in evening time, very slow as well.
Location: Next to JiaoTong University, close to subway #1, #9, #10, and #11, and downtown of Xujiahui.
It is good for the money, clean and comfort for that level.

Nice Hotel, Convenient Location, Good price

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, staff.
Cons: Not for for the room price and location. It has the basics I seek in a hotel: clean comfortable room, good internet, & comfortable desk/workstation.
Location: It's Shanghai. EVERYTHING is within easy walking distance or by Metro.
As a seasoned academic and business traveler I rank this small hotel highly. It’s clean, very reasonably priced, and a 8-10 minute walk from the Line 1/9/10/11 Metro station complex at Xujiahui. It’s just a 5 minute walk to Shanghai Jiao Tong University (the old campus). The staff is friendly and professional, and always willing to assist. I had to leave Shanghai for several days and they graciously stored my large suitcase for me. The hotel has a restaurant and the free breakfast selection features a wide variety of dishes. Lots of great local restaurants everywhere on the streets. My only caveat for non-Mandarin speakers is that this hotel is not geared toward foreigners. It’s a great little hotel, but if you don’t speak Mandarin, or are not comfortable being the lone foreigner in a place, and want all the perks in English, find one that caters to foreigners. (& of course pay the premium prices)

Pros: Clean room, good location, friendly staff
Conveniently located near Jiao Tong University, a metro station, 7 Eleven, & Starbucks; clean bathroom/room; hair dryer and tea kettle provided; iron available at front desk; friendly & helpful staff, but they know little English.

Not so bad hotel

Posted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: Price, near bars.
Cons: There are so many rooms but only 1 lift for everybody.
Location: Located to 10-15min walking distance of the nearest train station. Around there is nothing to do nevertheless it is relatively near to Shanghai Studio
It is a good hotel if you have in mind it is not near Shanghai downtown; the nearest subway station is about 10-15min walking. There's not too many places to eat around, maybe those shopping malls near the subway station; nevertheless it is a hotel that serves you if you just want to save some money. The staff is not too good in English, but this is something you will see often in China.
