Very comfortable and clean room. Facilities are well taken care of, with nice landscaping and nice beach. Breakfast was good and there is a nice indoor pool and large hot tub. Staff was very friendly. Appreciated the bikes too.

We had an oceanfront room with a beautiful view. The room itself was clean and comfortable but could use some updating. Indoor Pool and hot-tub were clean and well kept. Staff was very helpful, friendly and professional upon check in and check out.

The ocean view room is close to the water with nice view, but the room has the old rug smells. The coffee machine doesn’t work. When we went to the dining room and told them about it. We also asked one cup of coffee. They charged $4.00! That’s ridiculous.

Since I booked with Expedia I wasn’t able to choose a room before arrival, and I was given the worse room in the property, it smelled like mildew, with a view to the street. I went to the front desk and I was left waiting for a manager that never came for about an hour, I was moved to another later on, but that doesn’t erase my disappointment and feeling disrespected. We live on a tight budget and this was our only summer vacation so we made the best of it

Your feet in the sand....
Rather a perfect mix of a mid cape motel with all of the amenities you could ask for. Indoor/outdoor and ocean all within a few steps. Beach chairs and bar at the surf. Use of two facilities and the best of Yarmouth and Nantucket sound. Spotless. I'll be back.

The room was a little dated, but was clean and just right for our needs. We were there after labor day, so a lot of bars and restaurants were closed for the season, but that was still fine. The beach was nicely maintained and pool was nice as well. We would go back again!

The rooms definitely need renovations and are scheduled to undergo them this winter. I think a discount of some sort should have been provided due to the conditions of the rooms as they are now. The shower curtain had blood on it

Our “beachfront” rooms were supposed to be on the beach. We were on the 2nd floor. They told me “did you request 1st floor?” How was I supposed to know I had to “request”? I asked to upgrade to 1st floor and was told they were sold out. Called to speak to a manager…they put me on hold and then hung up. Also I spent alot of $$$…3 rooms for family…and our rooms were in different buildings…despite multiple calls to hotel weeks before visit. Parking fee of $25/day per car if you booked through a 3rd party. Total BS. One of the rooms didn’t have a remote for tv. We called 3 times and they never brought one. When we arrived…only 2/3 rooms ready. They stated they would bring key for 3rd room. Never did. Had to go back to front desk check in…which is at neighboring resort…to pick up keys. Would not recommend to others…nor stay here again.

Great beach location but ....
Great location right on the beach. Older building however that could use some tlc. Room was large and typical but bathroom had mildew, i had to fix the toilet when i arrived, i called front desk twice about an open window you need a tool to close and asked the cleaning service and nobody helped my entire stay so we had flies in the room....nothing was ever restocked so we had to get our own towels and coffee every day. Basically had zero staff assistance. We stayed at the Red Jacket the previous year and staff and cleanliness, grounds were much better.

This is a motel that has a pool and is by the beach. The facilities are moderately maintained - though the washroom is very old and has mildew and is generally not nice. The rooms are damp, salty smelling (by the sea!) and the A/C is very loud - my family and I could not sleep in our room and so checked out early. The motel was kind enough to refund us a 1 night stay with minimal hassle. The food/beverage offering is limited and there are no nearby restaurants with the exception of 2 chowder/seafood places that are 20 min walk or 5 min drive. It is a solid 3 star motel by the sea which is need of maintenance (broken beach chairs, no swings on the beach playground as shown in photos). Kids peeing in pools without parents or staff correcting this behavior (gross!). NOT a resort.

Drove 5 hours to vacation just to hear my room wasn’t ready at the check in time. Was charged for parking which isn’t stated anywhere until you get there. Was told at the front desk that someone would call me in 15-20 mins to let me know the room was ready. Got no call, come back 40 mins later and ask if the room was ready. Got handed a bent key and was sent on my way. Got to the room and they were still vacuuming. Inside the room all of the outlets were loose and would not hold a plug. The bathroom door handle was broken and room had a musty smell that never went away. AC only works on one level. This place was a scam in my opinion

Room smelled musty. Shower curtain liner was dirty, was removed promptly by hotel staff but never replaced despite calling desk and notifying housekeeper several times. Hard to come by towels for the beach. Never had enough popsicles for all the kids in the afternoons leaving some in tears.

We loved the location, the beach and pools were fun. The rooms really need an update though - outdated and damp, difficult opening and closing the slider doors. Not nearly enough outlets for devices and phones. We really do like the resort, but for the price it really needs some refreshing.
