Reasonable hotel for the money but not fantastic

Pros: Good facilities, good location.
Cons: I've stayed here before and had the same issues each time; housekeeping is inconsistent with missing towels, milk etc and broken lights and TV.
Room and hotel is nice. I've used this place 4 times now. Good facilities and helpful staff. What lets it down is the inconsistencies - this time round I got an iron that didn't work properly; last time they took my dirty towel each day but never replaced it so I ran out after 2 days and only realised as I got out of the shower. In my recent stay, I had to ask for milk, the TV remote didn't work, some light bulbs were broken. It's been the same each time so it indicates a general lack of process rather than a one-off. My recent stay was in a business class room. Unfortunately, the breakfast starts a little too late (6.30) for the UAE, where most workplaces start at 7.30 or earlier. A large group in the business class lounge had taken all the beers each night before I got there, and they cleared the (small selection of) food without notice so I didn't have the chance to get any more. Minor, but I paid a premium for that service and the room wasn't noticeably different so that premium was only for the breakfast that I had to miss and the evening snacks that were very limited. I've stayed in worse places, but I've stayed in better.

A great hotel

Pros: A hotel that caters to your needs and this site was particularly good at it
Cons: Keep going
Location: Already explained BUT with a little one with us it was perfect with popular places so close to the hotel
Upgraded to business lounge and open yourself to a great view unlimited drink (soft drinks mind you) lovely breakfast and biting for lunch and dinner as well. The site ideally situated within touching distance of the shopping malls water world and of course Ferrari world. Everything was catered for. We had a wonderful time especially when we also had 1 year old with us so one can imagine the care the hotel took in accommodating and caring for the little one. It was our first holiday in a long time and truly worth it and highly recommended

Family friendly

Pros: Kid friendly
Cons: Free upgrades. I know there were a lot of rooms with nice views available. Instead, we had a view of the road.
Location: Ferrari World, Circuit, Yas Island restaurants and activities.
I stayed here for two nights with my two toddlers. This was our first vacation without dad so my stress levels were pretty high. This hotel helped to wash away the stress and we had a great family vacation. Although I asked for a roll-away when I made the reservation and it wasn't set-up when I arrived, I decided we would all sleep in the King bed (plenty of room, no roll away needed). The kids loved the kid pool and I loved lounging in one of the free cabanas close by so I could watch them and also enjoy my time. The great thing was the kid's pool always had a little section of shade so the kids didn't fry in the hot sun. The property is also connected to the ParkInn and you can access a sizeable kids play area, their restaurant, or their pool. Tip: I wouldn't buy the morning brunch (96AED) and just order room service. Food was delicious and the morning breakfast selection is outstanding for about half the price.

Great location, decent size rooms

Pros: Staff always friendly
Cons: Better music at the pool!
Location: Yas mall, F1 track and Ferrari World
2nd stay at this hotel, can't really fault it. Great location. My only gripe is the over priced food in the Belgian Beer Cafe.

Great hotel - check-in/out very slow

Pros: Good gym and pool area.
Cons: Reception - speed up the process.
I've stayed at Radisson Blu many times and it's a quality 4* hotel but arrival & departure process lets it down. All guests should expect a long wait when check in at weekends and just as long to check out. When I arrived, after the 15:00 check-in time I was informed my room was almost ready (approx 5 minutes) with housekeeping just needing to place clean towels. Roughly 20 minutes later and tolerating the bored kids running about in reception I got my key.

Good Four Star Hotel

Pros: Convenient for airport (10 minute taxi, about £8), pleasant and comfortable rooms, nice pool to sit around, good Executive Lounge, fairly priced
Cons: Minor maintenance to small areas of wear and tear in the public areas
Location: Convenient free Yas Island shuttle bus to excellent Yas Mall, golf course, Ferrari World, Marina etc. All very easy!
We stayed at this hotel for a week over Easter, with our 2 children aged 8 and 9, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Service was excellent and staff friendly, the rooms were comfortable and with the usual amenities you would expect of a 4 star hotel - it wasn't high end lux but definitely a good 4 star hotel. Restaurants good, lovely breakfast buffet with good choice, Executive Lounge good but not accessible for children, pool very nice but not huge and could do with some additional sunbeds. Even though hotel was full it didn't feel it except at Breakfast (which can be a bit of a bun fight) and at the Friday Brunch (ditto bun fight!). Lovely views beyond the pool over the golf course and sea made it feel like a very calm place to stay. We would go back again tomorrow!

So great staying in Yas Isand

I love staying on Yas Island - I much prefer it to the city centre of AD. It's conveniently located near Yas Mall, cultural icons like the Grand Mosque, and it's very easy to travel to other Emirates from Yas. And the restaurants at and around the hotels are excellent.

Lovely pool and facilities, just looking shabby

Upgraded to a pool view with balcony and was very disappointed. Fridge was full of food from previous occupants and not clean. Bathroom light fittings missing and bulb in magnifying mirror also broken. Raised with the management and had an excellent response, so was pleased on that front. Wouldn't say it was value for money however

Sea, sun and plane spotting

We stayed here on Yas Island for a week as it was was close to the waterpark, marina, mall and Ferrari World. It costs about 25 dirham to reach the hotel by taxi from the airport but the 170 bus also has a stop very close by. To get around Yas Island there are free buses which run from the beach to the mall and marina as well as Radisson Blu’s very own free bus which runs every couple of hours during the day. Our superior room boasted wonderful views over the pool, golf course and out to sea with the city in the distance. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the planes come into land. We chose not to pay for breakfast at the hotel instead popping out or keeping some provisions in the fridge in our room.

Hotel location; very poor.

Through I understood that the hotel has a private beach. In the reality it has a very small swimming pool. Surprised........
