A peceful retreat.

Great place, quite private and with lovely views through the full length windows. Plus a effective fuel stove with a plentiful wood supply. And you are very close to the 10 k walk in Warren NP.

relaxing and tranquil

Posted Aug 3, 2016 on Lastminute
Pros: the cottages were lovely designs, had everything you need, nice bed, bath, views, and secluded enough to sit back and relax.
Cons: nothing really, the cottages were well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, firewood, towels..etc.
Location: Very relaxing location, close to town, lots of wildlife to see, plenty of scenic places to visit around region..forrest walks, huge trees to climb etc
we had 2 nights tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life at Marima Cottages just out of Pemberton. It was very clean, lovely tranquil surroundings, natural beauty on your doorstep. The facilities were great, lovely spa bath, comfy bed...no phone or tv reception, but we just wanted to kick back, crank the fire up, read books, go for walks through the forrest, and watch a couple of dvd's. The cottages were only 10 minute drive to town, so not too isolating. Owners are a lovely couple, very friendly and accomodating.

A great location in the bush not far from Pemberton. Great for seeing local wildlife and just down the road from the bicentenial tree. The cottage / cabin was fine. Managed with 2 adults and two young kids. Really an adult retreat. The kitchen area needs a liitle attention as some cookware needed a wash before we could use it. Bug spray ( like everywhere) a must and remember to bring all stuff for self-catering. Also remember that shops in Pemberton close early compared to the city. Liked very much though and would recommend for a getaway.
