The "Dud" Motel was a bit rough around the edges with its fair share of "character" (bottle opener in bathroom, Tree ring keychain, etc.), but it was perfect for our larger group, super affordable, clean, quiet, and an ideal location.
Staff were very friendly and rooms were very clean. Free breakfast was good and kept well stocked. Location close to North Yellowstone entrance was convenient.

The pool and sauna were great and breakfast was plentiful and a comfortable experience ...

Stayed one night with my husband on our way out of Yellowstone, just needed a place to sleep and this worked out well; we also enjoyed the free breakfast in the restaurant next door and the lovely view across the river.
