Nice hotel with east access to YNP

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness, price, location
Cons: More options for breakfast.
Location: Corall diner, market, K Bar for good pizza. Mammoth and boiling river for a nice soak.
Nice, clean hotel with adequate breakfast. Quick access to Mammoth and YNP. The corall diner is across the street as is a market. The diner has awesome shakes and delicious burgers.

Nice pool, terrific guest service

Posted Mar 13, 2017
Pros: updated rooms, nice pool, great staff
Cons: Sheets could be 100% cotton, not cotton/poly, which are not as comfortable
Location: At the North entrance of YNP - what else to say! Wonderful location for a park visit.
The rooms have been updated and are very nice. The pool is great, and the staff is accommodating. The only suggestion for improvement is to have cotton sheets, not cotton/poly, but that is probably a Super 8 chain decision, not a local one.

Great Value on Northern Border of Yellowstone NP

Posted Mar 3, 2017
Pros: Great value. Room was clean, nice room furnishings, comfortable bed, refrigerator, great location, free wifi, and heated pool.
Location: Very close to Yellowstone National Park entrance, restaurants, bars, shops, grocery store, shops.
Wanted to stay at an inexpensive motel in Gardner, MT prior to heading to Mammoth Hot Springs and taking a snow coach into Old Faithful Snow Lodge. The Super 8 fit the bill - great value lodging for the quality of the motel. Motel was clean, nice room furnishings, comfortable bed, refrigerator, great location, free wifi, heated pool, but no hot tub. Washer and dryer available in motel for a small fee. Gardner's largest grocery store is across the street. Motel is a few minutes drive to downtown Gardner and the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Have stayed here in the past and will do so in the future.

Good winter access to Yellowstone

Posted Feb 25, 2017
Pros: Pool was pleasant to work out the tired muscles Very good coffee Good staff too!
Cons: Heartier breakfast, hot tub--but then the prices go up too!
Location: Great location, lots of year round restaurants, good access to the Park, nice walk-able town, grocery store right across the street.
The super 8 is a reasonably priced facility for winter access to Yellowstone National Park. I was looking for a warm place to rest and a good hot shower each day after returning from trekking in the park. It was exactly what I was looking for. Okay breakfast--hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, bread, toaster waffles, yogurt were the fare. Juice was available as well as very good coffee--that was the highlight for me.

business trip

Posted Feb 24, 2017
Pros: It was clean and well maintained. The staff was personable and very helpful. It was in a convenient location.
Cons: I would have liked to use the pool in the evening but it was not available. Some of the breakfast items (biscuits and gravy) were quite mediocre.
Location: It was conveniently location and there were good dining choices nearby.
I was in Gardiner on a overnight business trip. I required a place close to my scheduled meetings.

After a long drive with snow and 60+ mph winds, it was just what we needed. Comfortable room and beds and quiet.
