Limited eating establishments near hotel. The only close restaurant is Penny's Diner next door. Not close to anything unless you are just going to Yermo Depot.

Close to Calico Ghost TownPosted Oct 26, 2015
Neat, clean, and the tv worked though speaker weren't the best. Nothing fancy. Enjoyed the free breakfast next door at Peggy Sue's.

Fab little Hotel.Posted Sep 5, 2015
We find it very hard to believe all of the negative reviews that we have read regarding this Hotel. Firstly we were greated with a smile from a very helpful Lady at reception. Then our room was large, clean and as requested on the top floor at the back away from the busy road. The only negative we had was the sixe of a standard double bed, it was more like a large single. This did not stop us from sleeping though. Our inclusive breakfast was great and so were the staff. We would use this Hotel again.

We have stayed at this hotel before. About the only game in town, but generally fine in the past. This time the maid missed our room on the two relevant days we were there. They also seem to have limited the breakfast offerings they provide with the room fairly significantly. Judging from this experience we will probably elect to stay a little farther away in Barstow where it seems we can get at least as good a room for less money or upgrade for the same money. Value definitely deteriorating in my opinion.

Gem in the Mojave DesertPosted Aug 4, 2015 on Hotels
Overnight stay enroute to LA.WEas just looking for a place that was reasonable and clean. I was surprised to find this gem ,literally in the middle of nowhere.Especially since the drive in from I-40 made me expect the worse. The motel is the most modern place in a small town reminisent of the early 1960's.The room was modern and comfortable with all the usual amenities.next door was a modern 50's retro diner that featured good food and friendly service. All in all, a very good one night stay.

A great place for stop over.Posted Jul 11, 2015 on Hotels
Just a stopover on our way home from CA to Las Vegas. The staff was friendly and the full breakfast you get at Penny's Diner next door was great. The diner should be advertised more. We always stop at Peggy Sue's down the road sometimes very crowed. People would go to Penny's if they know about it. Thanks for a great stop over.

Nice place to stayPosted Jun 28, 2015 on Hotels
Small room but clean. 2 queen beds, old tub enclosure otherwise would rate higher. 30 min plus tp Zion. Lovely drive no traffic. Across the street from a grocery store.

Ville bodd der igjen for gjennomreisePosted Jun 24, 2015 on Hotels
