A luxury colonial hotel in the ancient city.

Pros: Their buffet breakfast with various choices, their colonial ambiance, as well as their staff hospitality.
Cons: I didn't sleep well on 1st & 2nd night. There is a round big mirror in front of my bed. Suggest to move the mirror aside, to avoid facing the bed.
Location: In the city, one minute walk to Yogyakarta Monument, & 15 -20 minutes walk to Malioboro shopping street or go by becak (trishaw) of IDR 25,000 one way
One minute walk to Yogyakarta Monument from the hotel. It's a colonial ambiance of luxury hotel. They offer good buffet breakfast with various food type, with local (soto, pecel, gudeg, jamu tea, local coffee, etc), Western (bread, pastry, salad, egg, etc), and Asian (rice porridge, dim sum, Chinese 5 types of cereal). The restaurant is next to a fountain. Their swimming pool is stunning at night. I booked 3 nights Superior Heritage room, but upgraded with extra payment on my 3rd night to Deluxe Legacy room (facing the swimming pool). The pool view is good from my room balcony! Enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

A nice hotel near downtown Yogyakarta. Great for a quick stay when visiting the nearby temples (e.g., Borobudur, Prambanan). Extra points for utilizing aspects of Indonesian art, culture, and history throughout the hotel!

Beautiful hotel

Would highly recommend this hotel. Great central location and for the price we paid you get a beautiful room. Staff were very friendly and attentive and we were greeted with drinks and treats when we first arrived at the hotel. Breakfast buffet was extraordinary and had so many different types of dishes to try. Would definitely recommend it. The outside patio where we had breakfast was so calm and quiet and the perfect spot to have breakfast. The pool area was beautiful.

Hotel rooms definitely needs upgrading... Not the 4.5 star that I had expected.

Could be amazing but a disappointment

Pros: Beautiful building, lovely pool and spa. Great food.
Cons: Service, service, service!
Location: 30mins from Prambanan temple 1-1.5hrs to Borobodur temple Easy walk to Jalan Malioboro, we got a horse drawn carriage back!
The hotel is beautiful with some real historical charm. The rooms are nice (we had an executive room) and it worked well having our baby cot tucked in the area round the corner from our bed so she didn't see us if she woke in the night. Good location - easy walk to Jalan Malioboro to take in the local culture and north of the centre so convenient for getting out of town to the temples. Food at the restaurant, both local and international, was really very good. Lovely pool area with a separate section only 60cm deep great for kids. My husband tells me the spa was pretty good too! We had some outstanding service but.......generally it was fairly terrible. We had to move rooms due to the terrible sewerage smell in one of our rooms. The cot provided for our 2.5yr old was only suitable for an under 1yr old despite us being clear of the children's ages. Generally it was easier to do things for yourself (moving luggage between rooms, getting high chairs in the restaurant) despite an abundance of staff. Resolving issues seemed to take forever as staff just didn't seem confident to answer or know what to do. Some frustration did stem from the language barrier (very few spoke good English) but mostly it seemed to be poor training.

口コミ評価が高かったのでこのホテルを選びましたが、期待以上でした。 フロント、ポーター、レストランやバー各々のスタッフは皆笑顔で対応して、とても感じがよかったです。 朝食もバラエティに富んでいて美味しかったです。 また、バティックのスタンプなどがスタイリッシュに壁に飾られるなど、数々のインテリアもすばらしく、ジョグジャカルタのアートと歴史を感じさせるホテルでした。次にジョグジャカルタに来たら、今度はぜひ二泊以上は泊りたいです。
