This hotel is very dated and very small. You can barely get into the bathroom and it’s a step up. Only given 1 pillow per bed when they knew there were 3 people. Heat was on for a day that was 25 degrees so it was pretty warm. Only 2 very small elevators and they get very busy. Breakfast was okay though it was very busy.

The twin bed room is a bit small but still relatively clean. The breakfast included is pretty good. Location is fairly close to subway and walking distance to attractions and shopping.

The bathroom was covered in mould. My daughters wanted to have a bath but the mould was so bad, we couldnt let them be in there for any longer than they absolutely had to be. The free breakfast was good, but does not make up for the severe lack of cleanliness this bathroom desperately needed.

What is interesting is that the hotel is somewhat cramped but well positioned which is I expect its appeal. However, it is quite old and I had the benefit to also visit the Kyoto Hotel (in Horikawagojo) which was newer and more roomy all round. I found the breakfast time qui9te a strain to be honest and the food was limited. Also the tv was positioned such that it would have been hard to watch.

The room was clean; the bed was very comfortable. Room was a bit dated and the carpet was stained but clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to all sorts of transportation, shopping and restaurants.

Close to all amenities and attractions. Complimentary breakfast is substantial to start a busy and energetic day around Yokohama. Everything we wanted to see is walkable, no need to use the bus or trains/metro! Thanks to eh staff oc Comfort Hotel, we shall be back next time for sure!

Hotel well located for transport connections to explore Yokohama, Tokyo etc. Handy for the waterfront and chinatown areas. Plenty of reasonable bars and restaurants around. Rooms are small but typically Japanese in set up

Comfort Hotel matches The Greats!
Absolutely wonderful experience at this "budget" hotel! Far better than expected, and much better than the chain in the USA! The breakfast buffet was exceptional, with food selections to match the greatest hotels.

Very small rooms?
A very small room with nowhere to place luggage. More like a Business mans hotel? Double bed was hard against the outside wall so had to climb over to get in the other side. Breakfast was not suitable to Western Guests as too much Japanese orientated. Location was good. Would not stay there again.

Location is excellent. Close to all major sites. Walkable to most. Hotel is very dated but clean enough. No security to guest floors. Anybody can just take elevator to guest floors from street.

Convenient place to stay
The hotel was very conveniently situated to all the main ares of Yokohama. The breakfast was plentiful but Japanese orientated of course. The bed was too hard for my liking but the twin beds were larger than the normal size. There was always hot water. The main line railway and subway were close and there were several restaurants and convenience stores just round the corner. The self serve laundry was a bonus after having been on a cruise ship for 15 days!

Good stay
Nice hotel in a prime area. The front desk staff are too nice. Complementary breakfast is excellent. The free coffee and lime water are value addition. Overall my 9 day stay was a great joyful moment. I would recommend this hotel for those who are visiting Yokohama for business and fun.
