Lobby and lounge area are very nice and a nice fire pit outside. Our group encountered problems with our rooms not getting cleaned & I had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for a room because there were no clean towels & they wouldn’t allow me to check in without towels in the room. Finally one staff member was able to resolve the issue of rooms not being entered as available after they were cleaned. Room was clean but we could not get our temperature regulated in the room and it was cold. In the morning the coffee area in the lobby was a mess with trash in the floor. I asked if hot chocolate was available at 7 a.m. & was told if you don’t see it we don’t have it. It was not my normal Marriott experience. The property felt safe and the amenities were nice.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well appointed but the hotel could use a bit of a refresh and a little better maintenance. The lack of a full restaurant was disappointing but there are many dining options in the area.

Although my bill was paid through Expedia when I checked in, an employee requested a credit card. Naively I said ok, within hours fraudulent charges started to pop up and I had to cancel my credit card and dispute the charges. I feel my credit card information was likely stolen at this Marriott, and likely by the person who checked me in, since the last legitimate charge was Marriott. I told info this to the clerk when I was checking out, he was utterly uninterested.
