my wife stayed at the ritz in london last year and she said the staff and service at the grand was far superior especially the ono to one check in arrangements where as at the hotels you have to stand at a desk and wait your turn
Very nice hotel settled in the historic centre of the city. rooms with a lot a lot of facilities ( nespresso machine and amazing shower) but not very cozy. The hotel did not have a breakfast area, on request they can provide breakfast from Bill's. I didn't try it but from that hotel I would love ...
We just stayed for one night, but we were really impressed with the apartment. Bright, light, super clean and great facilities.
The hotel is lovely and in a convenient place for both the city and the train station. The room we stayed in was a classic room. If you book, pay extra and get a double or a suite. The room itself was really hot without the heating. On opening the window we got the noise from the train station and ...
Clean and quiet. Good nights sleep. Probably the best breakfast I have had in a B&B. Good location.

This hotel is easily accessed from the A64 via Fulford Road. It is in a quiet area but only just outside the city walls so all the sights are within walking distance. We checked in and out with ease and the owners told us where to catch a bus to the university. Our room was compact but did have a ...
This place is worth a visit even if only for drinks in a nice gallery or library.
Hotel is very clean. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast. Only down sides are, the hotel and rooms are very dated. I was in a single room, in what felt like the loft (22). Room was clean. But very compact. Shower and toilet were very small but again very clean. Bed quite comfortable. I was only ...
Other than having to pay extra to check in after 6pm and that not well highlighted on booking it was worth it. Large ground floor apartments with excellent bathroom and kitchen and small yard. Meters away from restaurants and pubs and handy for the shambles and minster.
Very comfortable. Right next to a Sainsbury's so it's very handy. Very nice little kitchen, laundry, and a comfortable bed. Really close to Monk Bar and York Minster. Bev is very accommodating and welcoming. I hope to return soon.
Hotel tucked away behind the york museum gardens. Easy to get to during the day by cutting through the gardens. Slightly more difficult after dark as you have to walk around the gardens. Still very convenient to explore the town. We stayed in room 8 on first floor which was cosy. Had enough space ...
What a find. It was like being in a Dickens novel. Right next to the Minster, our four bedroom / two bath accommodations were simply charming. We met in the kitchen each morning to plan our day and the parlor across the entrance hall each evening to discuss our adventures. The flat was neat and clean, ...
Located 10 mins walk from York Minster and 10 mins by taxi from the main Railway Station, this cosy, traditional guest house provides quiet, clean, comfortable rooms with great facilities, an excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Very friendly owners, linited free ...
I stayed in one of the rooms with a living room and kitchen. It felt like a beautiful old apartment and not a hostel. I loved it. Location is perfect. Good food (and discounted for guests) downstairs. Overall better experience than expected.
