The Grand did not disappoint. Exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the newer area of hotel and the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Staff truly go above and beyond to make your stay special. Housekeeping was terrific. Can’t beat the ease of location, 10 minute walk to central york. We are already planning our return trip.

Lovely building and decor. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice spa. Only disappointment was the extortionate JD and coke in the bar and no toast with the expensive room service breakfast.

Stayed 2 nights and upgrade to the bigger room which was huge !!! Very impressive , bed was sooo good and soft , perfectly located in town could walk to everything . Staff recommended leave car at hotel which was great as every time needed car, the doorman was so quick to bring up. All the staff friendly and very helpful Robert on the door gave great sightseeing suggestions all staff 10 out of 10 and the food in The Rise restaurant was magnificent would definitely be staying again
