"Convenient "
Room was clean and comfortable. Had an issue with directions to hotel using sat Nav, but did remember after it took us to wrong place that someone else had mentioned this issue. Breakfast was pretty unexciting, but sufficient. Real issue with wifi, basically it was non existent.

Pocket Guide: North Yorkshire York IHG Hotels

Once enclosed by ancient fortified walls, York offers a wealth of cultural and historical sites, including York Castle, the National Railway Museum, and York Minster, a Gothic cathedral in the city center. The Shambles is a pedestrian-friendly street dating back to mediaeval ages, where it housed butcher shops. Today the scene is less gruesome, with quaint boutiques and tea rooms lining the road.
