Nice hotel handy for Yosemite

Posted Jul 14, 2017
Hotel was clean , spacious and good value considering the overpriced Yosemite accommodations. It was about 45 mins drive to Yosemite and right in Mariposa handy for restaurants and bars.

Disappointing visit

Posted Jun 28, 2017
The lazy river was a rippling brook. The pool/spa were very dirty with limited seating in pool area which included several broken chairs.

Great location.

Posted Jun 13, 2017
Pros: Great location.
Cons: I just think be honest with the pictures of what the hotel looks like. It's a little out dated, but the rooms were clean enough.
Location: There was a sports bar called the Gold Coin that had a limited menu but live music. There was another restaurant called 1850 that had great food.
This hotel is centered in Mariposa, a quaint little town with restaurants and small shops. It is about a 30 to 40 minute drive to reach Yosemite. I will say this is one of those hotels where the pictures look a lot better than what it is. It's your typical Best Western, with doors to the parking lot, but that did not phase me since the town was friendly and felt safe. The ladies in the office were friendly as well.

Convenient to Yosemite

Posted May 31, 2017
Pros: location
Cons: inspect for bedbugs, use soundproofing
Small town with no cell reception. Could not log onto wifi. Bed was comfortable but woke up with a bite on my leg, and I wore pants the entire time I was in Yosemite so I'm afraid it wasn't a mosquito bite. Heard lots of noise from other guests. Front desk young lady was very professional. The other staff member who was on the phone made herself unavailable to help anyone.

Nice hotel close to the park. Godd breakfast, only 40 minutes to Yisemite National Park.

I was suppose to get a room with two queen beds

Posted May 24, 2017
Ordered two queen beds, got one queen and a small fold out coach bed. When I explained I was told we are sold out. Hotel probably booked reservation knowing they did not have a room with two queens.

Yosemite access

Posted May 23, 2017
Pros: Clean
Cons: Access for disabled
Location: Near Yosemite about an hour drive. Some local boutique shops
This hotel is nice and comfortable and importantly clean. There are 3 floors and without an elevator so suggest request appropriate access. Hotel is about an hour or so from the park. Limited shopping nearby

Good location, clean room and good breakfast.

I'd rate this hotel higher if not for the one issue. It's cold in the mountains but the comforter on the bed were thin. In fact, they were blanket not comforters.

Not close to the Yosemite park

Posted May 20, 2017
We were expecting a nice hotel stay, however we were disappointed with the room and overall ambience was not suitable for a family outing. We felt as if we were staying in a hospital room.
