Miner’s Motel was a get what you pay for stay. Our trip was on a budget and Miner’s for right in. Check-In was easy. I called ahead of time to let them know we weren’t going to be getting there until later in the evening. Once we got there, we rang the Bell outside of the office door, told the person I had a reservation, he checked the system and came back with the key. The room was a good size room with a kind sized bed and a couch. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, the essentials. The bed was a bit stiff for our liking but it was a place to rest after several long days of hiking. The bathroom was stocked with sufficient towels, shampoo packets, and bars of soap. The bathroom could have been more clean since there was dirt and someone’s contact in the corner. That was the only downfall of the room but I was not expecting luxury. I would stay here again if I needed a budget friendly hotel and didn’t mind the long drive to Yosemite National Park.
