Love coming home

Posted Oct 23, 2016
Pros: Convenient and comfortable.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: We were passing through, but Yreka is a beautiful small town with lots to do.
The staff was eager to help, the room was comfortable and inviting. We had a very good stay at this facility.

Clean and Comfortable

Posted Oct 12, 2016
Location: Yreka is north of Mount Shasta. It's a quiet place to stay the night on I-5. There is a cute historic district with restaurants and shops.
This is a new hotel and is exactly like all Holiday Inn Expresses. The "new house" smell is still in evidence. The staff is exceedingly accommodating and friendly. Our bed was OK - I like something firmer, but my husband thought it was fine. The breakfast was typical fare for breakfast included motels. If you like to eat yogurt and toast (we do) it will be enough. We tried the eggs, which had an artificial taste (very fluffy and not much flavor). They had biscuits and gravy and sausage - all of which were pretty much inedible. Breakfast aside, this is a nice, clean place to spend the night. Like many Holiday Inn Expresses, it is not located right in town. It sits pretty much by itself just off I-5. It's just one exit to the historic district of Yreka, a small town of about 7,800.

Hotel with full breakfast

Posted Sep 7, 2016
Clean and comfortable beds. We were able to get a good nights rest. It was nice having conveniences such as a fridge and microwave to store and heat our food. In addition, it is so nice to start off the day with a full breakfast. This is a nice alternative to the continental breakfasts all the other hotels offered. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Cons: Mattress was bouncy and did not offer good support. All else was great.
Facility was good. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Could use new beds

Posted Aug 30, 2016 on Hotels
This was our "middle of nowhere stop" on the way home. The place is conveniently located, but difficult to find in the dark with the GPS giving us the wrong directions. It's tucked in a remote street near mobile homes, not the best location. Nice place, but we got the most uncomfortable bed, which made for a bad experience because it was no bargain.
