Clean

I have stayed here twice for 4 days at a time for business. Clean and quite inside. Area not the best but doable. Price can't be beat for what you get.

Trouble with WI FI., no local sports channels. Otherwise all good.. breakfast included was a big plus!!

Never have I been humiliated and never will again

I was sleeping and twice I was woke up by the staff knocking to ask if I was smoking In my room. The first time I said to leave me alone and they did. The second time they proceeded too enter my room and found the tiniest reminiscent of ash in the window Ceil which was not from I or my company at the room prior. Supposedly the man next door complained about it smelling like smoke but I was sleeping for 6+ hours just before both times I was accused of smoking. I got this hotel room to catch up on some much needed r&r but all I got was kicked out my room and my 100$ cash deposit was kept also. Will never return too this hotel again even if it meant sleeping in my vehical. At least I wouldn't get bothered unnecessarily and ripped off 100$ on top of the 178$ I spent on the room for 2 nights which I only stayed one of the two. When confronting the front desk they called the police and I was asked to leave and escorted out. Never have I ever been humiliated like that in my entire life and will see to it that they never get my business or anyone else who possibly reads this review. I will follow up with their corporate office today as I frequently stay in hotels for work and leisure. Travelodge went from being top notch to not even on the charts after this one.

Pros: It was clean.
Cons: The front desk looks like a hospital check-in counter. Need remodeling.
Location: The location is deal, which is one of it good points. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and the mall is across the street.
There is really nothing bad to say. However, for the price, I could stay at the Best Western across the street, which is much nicer and roomier. The room was very small but clean. The front desk looks institutionalize (i.e. like a hospital) rather than a hotel. I had a room on the first floor, which is not ideal as the street was only about 75 feet from my window. So I kept the curtains closed which made the room look even small. I will keep this place as a backup to my preference.

Only concern was the thermostat was hard to use and didn't stay at desired temprature

For a Travelodge it was very good. Nice staff, friendly. Clean room. One major problem. When I made reservation I was promised a good breakfast in the morning. When I went to the dining room in the morning I was told that it was the first day of a 90-day pilot program offering only "Grab & Go" breakfast. This consisted of a paper bag with one banana, one chewy breakfast bar and a small bottle of water!!! I was VERY unhappy. It was more like an afternoon snack. I should have been told by Expedia or the staff when I checked in that that would be the case. I had to spend $10 to get a decent breakfast that morning. I'm really not blaming the hotel staff. I blame Travelodge Corporate. Trying to save money, cut jobs (breakfast staff) and improve their bottom line.What a letdown. I have quite a bit of business to attend to in the next few months in the Yuba-Sutter area and rest-assured I WON'T be staying at the Travelodge!!!!

Its a pretty decent place. Would stay there again. Its close too the highway. Easy to find. Rooms were clean.

Small, area with a lot of homeless people. Av set for no lower than 68 so warm at night. Not the cleanest and lots of noise. Women at desk was wonderful.
