“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.”

“This was our first VRBO rental and we are happy to say it was an EXCELLENT experience. The property was exactly as promoted, clean, well-appointed, and in a very nice neighborhood. Easy Check-In, Easy Parking, Beautiful inside and out, and Easy Check-Out! Fully stocked bathroom and nice kitchen. Very comfortable bed too! Perfect for a couple of guests! The Host, Ruvin Marmol, was most accommodating and VERY helpful. We are a senior couple and he walked us through the entire process, maintained……

“The apartment was very basic, lacked a homey feel. For example, host could provide coffee. One bedroom, the quiet one, could use a night table and a lamp. The other room was hard to sleep in as the neighbors were very loud. The floor looked clean, but it wasn't the bottom of my feet were brown after walking barefoot. Paper towels and real glasses (not plastic) would be appreciated. ”
