room was very clean and spacious especially washroom was very clean. Also, i loved their breakfast but fried egg was a bit salty. Other than that, it was very delicious and servers front desk agent were very friendly. Thank you.

Welcome Back
Second time in Varres Hotel. The staff are so helpful and friendly. They welcomed me back like I was family which is heartwarming. There are still Covid conditions, but overall they are coping very well. The guys on the front desk are brilliant. The breakfast too. Thank you all for looking after me. I will be back as soon as I can.

Lovely room in a beautiful location.
Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds with olive orchard & lemon trees. Rooms were clean & nice facilities like pool & pool bar. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Hidden gem
Varres is close to (walking distance) to Zakynthos Town and Tslivi. When I stayed it was quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast staff. The room was very comfortable with good air conditioning and lovely views over Varres. The pool was immaculate and the pool bar served good food and drinks. All in all I can’t fault it despite difficult circumstances. I would recommend Hotel Varres and believe I will return.

We had garden view for our stay , love it , very peace and green when you sit outside the balcony . For the price we paid you can’t ask too much amenities. Breakfast was delicious and fresh !

A little hidden gem
Lovely hotel between Zante and Tsilivi. I’m quite active so walked to Tsilivi in about half an hour and Zante town in Twenty minutes. Rooms clean but a little basic but doesn’t detract from the ambience of the place. Staff pleasant, and helpful and breakfast tends to be the same everyday but more than enough for anybody. A great hotel at a great price in beautiful surroundings, will definitely book again .

Shame about location
It was a nice hotel which was clean and the staff helpful. The biggest issue for me was location as I had forgetten / left my driving license at home. It was so far out of the way of anything lively if you did not have a car. Very little public transport at this time of year, and too far to walk anywhere in the nice weather, So it cost me a fortune in taxis. I also felt like the only English person there so felt quite lonely at times whereas I think it would have been different in a livelier area. I would think about staying there again if I could hire a car though and be with company.

Perfect quiet spot
Lovely hotel in the quiet hills about 1 mile out from the town centre. Perfect for a quiet start to a holiday, and especially if you have a car or bike. If not, taxi service is good. I liked it so much i might come back on my last night of trip.

Lovely property - but need transport
While this property was lovely, and clean,it advertised a childrens club and restaurant. Both of which were closed on my arrival. I mentioned this to reception, who explained due to it being low season the resturant would open in the the evening only, but he would be happy to order a take out! I choose this property based on there being a childrens club also for my 8 year old son. Thius was not open. As it was low season there was not a lot open, other than in the main town, So having no childrens club was a big disappointment. It should be clearly advertised when the childrens club would be open. The childrens club opened the day of our departure so my son was not able to even enjoy one day at the childrens club as we left at 10am that same moring, very disapointing. This location is very lovely but no local amenties, you need transport.

Welcome break
Stayed for five nights right at the end of the season. Had a wonderful stay, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Food a little basic but plentiful with unlimmited amounts at breakfast, filled us up for the whole day. Visited the bar most nights where we were looked after very well,given free bar snacks and treats we didn't expect and very generous measures of drink at very cheap rates Hotel a little shabby in places and the pool freezing but easily overlooked having too much fun!

Bad accommodation with smelly bathroom
The common area of the hotel, like reception, pool and restaurant are very nice and they have a very friendly staff. However, the room itself was really bad. The bathroom had a horrible smell, like sewage smell all the time. We asked for a double bed as we are a couple and they gave us a 3 twin bed. I didn't understand why as the hotel wasn't full. They had many available rooms out there. Although the staff was friendly and the hotel well located I would not stay there again because of the accommodation, unfortunately.

Very pleasant stay
Varres is located in a beautiful location in amongst an olive grove....pleasant outlook and very quiet. It has great facilities....a big pool, dinning area and games room. The one minus is that's located outside the main town.....whilst you can walk it, it's on a busy road and a footpath is not always there. Breakfast was reasonable and the staff were very helpful. All in all it's great value for money and I would highly recommend.

A lovely Hotel
A lovely hotel run by friendly people and set in the middle of an olive grove. Quiet with a beautiful pool, ideal for a restful holiday, but with the lively town just 5 minutes away in a cab.

Nice quite hotel
A very nice hotel in a quite area of the island. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and corridors. High variety of the breakfast buffet. AC in the rooms, most of the rooms has a small terrace where you can enjoy a drink in the evening. What I missed is more plug in the room, as we had to charge our phones, cameras etc. Also maybe a box of tissue could be useful in the rooms. After all I would recommend the hotel for families or people who wants a quite pleasant stay.

I really liked the room here but what I didnt like was that the shower would clog up and also it was too small. I also didnt like how the breakfast had no variety its basically bread with eggs and little sausage wedges, thats about it. I think they should hire more staff because it took them long to reload the breakfast area because the same lady who cooks the breakfast she is also the room service so yeah its pretty short on staff. The view was nice and also the bed comfort but I encountered many little insects under the beds and on the doors such as spiders and nats. I give a 3 out of 5 I think the only thing I liked about it was that its close to the main square and that the heater worked

Lovely hotel, set in tranquility of olive groves. Only drawback too far from town. Need car or transport by taxi. Showers could be improved. Rooms spacious, very clean nice pool area. Need to deal with wasp problem.. Got stung! Staff very friendly and attentive.

The hotel is located not far from Zakynthos town so it's convenient to go there in the evening for a nice dinner. The breakfast is ok and also a not so bad wifi. The bar at the pool had some good food as well. Would stay again.

Smart hotel!
EXCELLENT hotel for the price. I booked in advance for late June and paid $37/night! I got the room with the country view and it was fantastic. It's not lux but it's great for the price and a €7 taxi ride from Zante Town!

Schönes, sauberes Hotel mit extrem unfreundlichen und respektlosem Personal am Kiosk am Pool. Dort fand auch das Mittag- und Abendessen statt, das wir gebucht hatten. Der Ober hat uns ewig warten lassen, wir konnten nie zur gewünschten Zeit einen Tisch reservieren, obwohl es möglich gewesen wäre. Wie kann man jemanden, der keine Touristen (außer Griechen) mag in einem Hotel beschäftigen? Ein Grund garantiert nicht wieder zu kommen. Er war nicht nur zu uns, sondern auch bei anderen Gästen frech und herablassend!

Simples mas tem TUDO o que você precisa
O hotel na verdade é simples mas tem tudo o que você precisa. Café e piscina muito boas, possui elevador, estacionamento, atendimento excelente com dicas sobre passeios, informações importantes. Cama e chuveiro bons, minha única queixa é que o chuveiro é forte mas molha bastante o banheiro.

Struttura immersa nella natura senza rinunciare alle comodità della città di Zante che dista a soli 8 minuti di auto(che consiglio per godersi tutta l'isola). Qui non troverete caos come nella zona di Laganas, quindi ottimo per chi vuole rilassarsi a 360"grazie anche al personale gentilissimo. Unica pecca il nostro bagno, molto piccolo.... Con acqua che usciva dalla doccia..... E senza bidet..., ma per il resto è stata un ottima esperienza.
