Amazing relaxing hotel in the countrysideWe had a fantastic 2 night stay here on our way back to catch the ferry from Santander. Driving up to it has a real 'wow' factor and the design of the structure continues from the impressive facade all the way through the hotel. Fantastic hotel in a quaint little town. This place looks like nothing from outside but walk through the door and you are in a courtyard that's out of another world. The food is local and there is plenty of it. Also there is a spar that I didn't use but it sounded great.

Great location in historic building3 days prior to our visit, fires dumped ash into the river, soiling the town's water. Then the town cut the water supply completely. The staff dealt well, for the most part, in a difficult situation. We received a 10% discount. Lovely town.
