Fascinating, historical, beautiful family home where you feel right at home the moment you walk in.

The house, each room, the decor, antiques, sculptures and other art pieces were amazing! All of this sitting in the middle of God's glory, we enjoyed the beautiful Autumn foliage, peaceful pond, and graceful gardens. We were so happy to be there and our host could bot have been more hospitable and welcoming. Take the family or have your next gathering at the Dragonfly House and you, too, will be delighted.

Lovely space for a couple of families

My family and my sister's family really enjoyed our stay at this lovely old farmhouse. The kids had fun playing in the pond, fishing, and using the paddleboat and we all had a good time sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. We were even able to sit out on the screened porch one night and appreciate the power of nature as we listened to and watched a majestic thunderstorm roll through. Heidi was great about communication and we would definitely stay here again.

This property was perfect for our reunion. Charming decor and very comfortable.

Quiet retreat for a hectic week

It was the perfect place for us to relax and refresh during the week of our son's wedding. There are plenty of spaces to sit and talk or read. The layout of the rooms is a little odd, but we got used to it. The family room is on the far end of the house from the formal living room and the screened porch, which allowed for peaceful quiet areas while others watched TV. My 91 year old Mom visited one day, and she loved the screened porch. The kitchen and upstairs bathroom are very modern. The family room looks like a more recent addition. The main house is rustic and comfortable. Heidi and Joey are terrific hosts. We had a small issue the first day, and they quickly responded and resolved the problem.

          5/5 Excellent

This house was fantastic and perfect for what we needed. We were in Columbus for our son's wedding. After the wedding, we knew it would be several hours before the wedding pictures were done, as they took the pictures at a different location. The house was large enough to accommodate several people who came over to relax while we waited for the reception to begin. There are 3 separate rooms for sitting and relaxing, not to mention the dining area. Heidi was wonderful about allowing us to stay past the checkout. I just wish we had more time to enjoy the place. I highly recommend it!!
