Clean and comfortable not far from DenisonPosted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: clean, comfortable and quiet room; complimentary breakfast in a pleasant room; gym (small but uncrowded); small pool and hot tub
We spent 3 nights at the Hampton Inn while attending Parents' Weekend at Denison University. It was about a 15 minute drive to campus. The hotel is clean and comfortable and has many amenities. Although it is close to a main road in a very commercial (strip mall) area the room was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the small pool and hot tub one evening and appreciated the complimentary breakfast each morning. The small gym was quiet and all we needed.

The value proposition was great--nice rooms, super breakfast, clean and quiet, all at a very reasonable price.

Great place to stay in this areaPosted Aug 7, 2015 on Hotels
Nice, well-maintained hotel, clean & fresh room and public areas, good comp hot breakfast. This may be the only hotel in Heath with both swimming pool and spa tub (and one of only 2 in the Newark-Heath-Hebron area, now that another no longer has a spa tub), which were very clean and barely used when I was there (Sun-Mon). Stores and restaurants are within walking distance, but this is Heath, so don't expect sidewalks. The hotel is set far back from the main road, and has nice landscaping, so that it feels removed, almost secluded, from any bustle. Only negative with this hotel is minor: I had asked for late-checkout, and was told it was OK, only to find out that the young male clerk I had talked to had not noted anything or otherwise told anyone else; no biggie, but not the best hospitality practice, and the staff here are not the most "hospitable," yet that seems par for the course for Heath businesses in general, unfortunately; probably just "local culture." Would definitely re-book, now that my (former) favorite place to stay no longer has a spa tub, and now that I know what to expect from this hotel.

Great place to stay.Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and quiet atmosphere
Cons: The elevator was a little slow, but operated well.
The place was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was excellent. They always greeted us when we entered the lobby. All staff members were quick to offer help whether in the eating area of in the hallways. The price was reasonable.

My daughter's and granddaughter stayed on our way home from Columbus. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I will look for this hotel to stay at wherever we travel from now on!
