I should have called! The property was being renovated. No pool or gym access. When I first pulled up I thought the place was abandoned! When I looked in the door it was dark, the floor had been tripped to the glue that held down the previous tile and there were wires hanging from the ceiling. People were talking outside my door late and at 3:31am the train started blowing it’s horn In increments or 3 blasts for about 15 minutes straight. I should have checked the condition of the hotel before I finalized our reservation.

The room was very nice, and worked perfectly for us. The breakfast was incredibly good. All in all, it was a good stay. The hotel, though, needs quite a bit of updating. The elevators are disgusting and the entrance area leaves much to be desired.

1st Anniversary Major disappointment
Everything was a 10/10 except for the hot tub I was never able to get in the hot tub because of 12 people were rude n stayed in for 5 hours straight , I would go down every 30 minutes still there I am very upset about that the hot tub was the reason we paid 150$ for a single night Very , disappointed after 2 hours any decent person is going to give someone else a turn but not these ppl.

Nice people, but very expensive for what you get... The hotel isn't in great shape and needs an overhaul. Plus, the pricing is a bit magical. It changes from one day to another.

Not as good as it was.
Great pillows. Wasn’t sure if one of the beds had an odd smell - maybe stale smoke? Used/wet washcloths found hanging from shower rod and inside (changeable) shower curtain didn’t seem too clean. Desk chair vinyl was all worn off on head rest. We’ve stayed here before (booked directly through Holiday Inn) and it was great, but not so much this time. For being a higher price than the other hotels in the area we expected a bit more. We might try one of the others next time.

Bad shower, good breakfast
This would have been a great stay except that the shower in our room was broken. We didn't notice until the morning. Thankfully, after we called, staff came right up to our room to give access to the empty room next door to shower. The breakfast was one of the better free ones I have had.

I always love Holiday Inn Express! We stopped for the night and were greeted by a very lovely concierge. She allowed us to park in a place where we could keep an eye on our vehicle as we had our bikes attached. Breakfast was great! The kitchen manager was delightful and friendly. The location was quaint and quiet. All around great experience.
