Great Value for money and location

Posted Dec 21, 2016
Pros: Location and room size
Cons: Breakfast buffet
The hotel was great in terms of value for money, location, room size and facilities. If there is one thing I would recommend improvement for it would be the breakfast buffet, to make it have more variety

Would return

Pros: Central. Extended parking after checkout.
Location: Central to Zaragoza center. El pilar and historic Roman museums dating back close to 2000 yrs. good place to visit for 2-3days
Family in the area visiting frequently. Will use this hotel again. Fair price. Inexpensive parking. Will allow car to remain after checkout, until midnight. Very central... Also makes it a little hard to get to parking garage. Very pleased with all. Good four star.

Great city, convenient and comfortable hotel

Posted Nov 23, 2016 on Hotels
First visit to Zaragosa, and very impressed with city and this hotel just outside the historic district and near main Plaza Espana, so walking distance to most historic sites, restaurants,Tapas Bars (not a big fan of Tapas but key area for that is also walking distance). The hotel is in an old historic building but renovated so rooms are spacious, comfortable and well arranged. Hotel Staff friendly, all competent in English, and helpful with suggestions on places to visit and to eat. Do not miss the Palacio Aljaferia, originally the Muslim palace that retained much of the Islamic influence even after the Reconquista; a bit away from historic town, so either taxi or bus to get there though a pleasant walk back (25 minutes). Home of Catherine of Aragon before marrying Arthur and then Henry Tudor, so full of history and very picturesque with both Muslim and Chrstian influences before the Inquisition put end to that. Certainly rivals Seville, cordoba & Granada. Also must see: Zaragoza Museum, Plaza del Pilar, Basicila of Our Lady of the Pillar & so much more. You need at least one (very) full day to see everything worthwhile (we spent two nights and one full day) and to see the city at night with all the lights. Everything was within walking distance. Also if traveling by car, their garage associated with the hotel has direct access, and fairly reasonable rates (15 Euros per night) for guests considering downtown location.

Nice hotel and n great location

Nice hotel. Recommend it. They had turned off the AC for the season and weather had turned very warm. 23 degrees. Rooms ere VERY HOT.......but they tried to help us by moving us to top floor and a room with a balcony. Slept with door to balcony open however street traffic kept us awake. But they did try to help.

Was really delighted by Zaragoza city, much bigger than thought, would have enjoyed a longer stay. The hotel was located very centrally, chosen for the parking facility, very handy. Staff, room and decor were all very good. Only comment...would have appreciated 24 hour room service!

Good quality hotel in a good location.

We have used the hotel several times before, as Zaragoza is a convenient overnight stop to and from the ferry terminal at Bilbao (three hours drive away). The hotel is centrally located with many eateries and places of interest to visit nearby.

Prominent Position

Posted Apr 14, 2016
Pros: The position of the hotel is near to tourist attractions and the tourist bus. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and convenient parking.
Location: There is the Pilar Cathedral, and the Palace is nearby the Goya museum is there and across the road there's a theatre.
This hotel has a lovely foyer with a beautiful chandelier and impressive pictures donning the walls of the reception area. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable, with lovely bathrooms. The hotel is near the tourist bus, which takes you around Zaragoza and the have unearthed a Roman ruin which is only a few meters from the hotel. There are plenty of museums, restaurants and bars around if you didn't want to eat in the hotel. There is a great shopping area around the corner from the hotel.
