Nice Hotel close to the river

It is very nice hotel and very close to the river Also located at the center of the city and close to the Rīga place

Welcoming staff, explained everything clearly, rooms were good, lovely pillows and nice shower, breakfast was15e but a very good selection. Great views over the river with great firework displays, would definitely return

Book a front facing room as back rooms are noisy from the kitchen extractors and aircon units

Fast check in and very good facilities. The spa and swimming pool are great and clear.

City break

Overall a great hotel. Only a 10 minute walk across the river to the old town. Staff were polite & helpful. Had an excellent pool, sauna & gym on site free to use for guests. Only slight point against the hotel was the room was a little run down, basin cracked but it was clean & comfortable. I did not try the restaurant so could not comment.

Great location, limited room service options. Not the cleanest. A/C noise. Very busy. For short stays is great.

Hotel by the river

Hotel is situated by the river and only a short walk across the bridge from the city centre. Reception and bar staff were welcoming, restaurant staff not so much. My room was clean but very dates and in an urgent need of refurbishment. Especially the wardrobe looked well past its use by date with some random untreated pieces of wood holding it together. The old room door felt not 100% secure and there was no safe in the room which I thought is a norm in any 4* hotel nowadays. Gym, pool, sauna available in the on site fitness centre. Could be a great hotel if the rooms were updated.

Nice hotel but watch your stuff

Pros: Awesome room great view
Cons: Staff vetting
Location: All attractions within walking distance.
Had a great overall time but managed to have some stuff "go missing" from my suitcase.
