"Great location near central market, Thomaskirche, Nikolaikirche, lots of bars/restaurants/cafes everywhere. Even shopping, if you must waste your vacation on that. Very good German breakfast buffet, with Brötchen, cheese and sandwich meats, as well as North American staples. AC had a little trouble coping with the uncharacteristic 35C heat wave. TV in room was flaky, with system resetting itself a couple times per hour."

"Well run, and the location was fantastic for downtown access. The stairs were easy to find and worked well. But it would have been nice to have more eating utensils than just two paper cups. The instructions asked us to hang towels on towel racks, but there were no towel racks, only towel hooks (which was fine). Also randomly at 3am, we were woken up by a presumably accidental loudspeaker announcement which was cut short thankfully. At check-in, it was brightly advertised that there is no...

"Apts on 1 floor of an office/work building. They are clean but very basic and cheaply furnished. No air con but since the temp dropped we thought it would be okay. Despite the open window and fan over night and half the morning it was still sweltering inside. The sofa bed was terrible and unusable. The shower was insanely slippery and water temp kept shifting btw hot and cold. We switched to a similarly priced apart-hotel a couple blocks away for a much better stay"
