The sink for the bathroom had backed up water that would not go down the drain. I told two staff members and they took note of it but never said they would send anyone to check it out and nothing was ever done.

For this type of hotel, it was a good experience. It does seem sketchy but once you walk in and are greeted kindly, you instantly feel the warmth. The set up reminds me of a motel. The pool area was clean. The rooms were nicely remodeled but there were parts where you can tell they just covered up with paint or caulk the worn parts. The tub had stains on the floor so we just put a hand cloth down. There was a smell in the room, so we told the lady at the front desk. We bought an air freshener. The housekeeper was very friendly and the attendant at breakfast was too. Breakfast was mediocre but I never expect anything much from hotels that offer free breakfast. It’s a small town with decent food options within 5 minutes of the hotel. If you venture out another 30 minutes or so, you can find a nice plaza with TJMaxx and options for nicer restaurants.

Totally recommend this hotel to everyone. Ive been to several hotels in florida in this price range and this one is by far THE BEST!!! Clean, quiet, comfy beds and pillows, excellent breakfast, relaxing pool area. Etc.

This was by far one of, if not the best stay I’ve had a hotel! The service from the front desk was amazing, even before I checked in. I called with a last minute change, and they happily accommodated a day late check in with no issue. The room was immaculately clean and spotless which I love! Breakfast was hot and delicious, and had a great variety of options. I literally have no complaints. It was very quiet, and I felt safe as a woman traveling with two children with me. I left an item, and they called me the day I checked out to arrange sending it to me. Don’t let the property being older fool you, my experience was better than that of a lot of newer big name hotels. I will definitely be back when visiting the Tampa area!

It’s an older property and the room number 15 smelled bad, but I was expecting it for this type of property. It was noisy at night. Was on ground floor. One night stay. It was good value for the price.

Nice clean place, hotel was quiet. Can hear the road traffic a bit but the air conditioner easily drowns that out. Theres make your own waffle breakfast, a pool, daily housekeeping and free parking.

I had read some negative reviews of this property and almost didn’t stay here but I’m glad I did. It was conveniently located to where I wanted to be. The room was recently updated and comfortable. I liked the easy parking and quick walk to my room. The WiFi was great. The pool was nice. Free breakfast every day. Both the staff and the people staying there were friendly. I found nice places to sit outside on the property when I was at the hotel. The room windows opened for fresh air on nice days. It completely fits the overall personality of Zephyrhills: low key, friendly, exactly what you need and nothing more. I will definitely stay here again.

The staff were very pleasant. My bed was not fresh like someone clearly sat down and took a break on it. And the sink didn’t drain. It was well kept but very worn - I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the temperature in my room and felt like I was melting all night.

Well, the bullet proof glass window you have to talk through when you check in past dark did not give a good vibe. However, the women at the desk was very nice. Same for the different women when we checked out. That's about the only nice thing I can say. The building is old and run down. I can understand the bullet proof glass seeing as the neighborhood was super sketchy.

Thank you for reviewing. We've had the night window since the building was built in the 70's the main lobby is closed from 9pm to 6am. We've continued use of the night window as piece of mind for the night clerk. We apologize if it presents as unsafe. We are continually improving. Half of the rooms have recently been renovated top to bottom but cannot change the exterior of the building. Glad to hear that you were well treated during your stay!

I liked the quick and easy access getting off of the 301 and it was centrally located for this trip. Beds were comfortable and staff was very nice - especially noticeable at breakfast. The free breakfast had healthy options, which was appreciated.
