The hotel bed is too soft, not suitable for those who have bad backs or who typically sleep on harder mattresses.

Great place to stay in Taipei.

Hotel Eight Zone is a gem. Nice rooms, very nice staff, Ok location, good value. The design was probably "edgy" a while back and is still interesting, if a little frayed at the edges now. Still, the room was in good shape and well-appointed. WiFi worked very well (there were some negative comments in other reviews). I really liked the shower that doubled as a steam sauna...every hotel should have this.

Nice, clean, spacious hotel

Posted Apr 11, 2017
Pros: Rooms were clean and spacious, equipped with steam bath and jacuzzi.
Cons: The lobby/bar area was very basic, it could be renovated to provide better ambience.
Location: It is very near to an MRT station.
Well, the price range is slightly high but it offers you a convenient location (very near an MRT station). Apart from that, rooms were clean and spacious with in-room steam bath and jacuzzi facilities. Employees do speak English so communication is not an issue. Overall, very pleasant.

Great sleep!

As most of Taiwan's architecture, the outside of this hotel doesn't really makes you want to go in, but the rooms inside will immediately make you change your mind-set. Huge room, nice bathroom, comfortable bed! Nice welcome cocktail and Good breakfast! The MRT is 6-min walk away.

Hotel in great location for walking & public trans

Posted Apr 2, 2017
Pros: Great staff, awesome lights and Jacuzzi bath
Cons: Scotch tape on the wall holding certain portions of broken molding together & free breakfast for all guests
Location: A lot to do nearby. Many restaurants, shops and easy access to public transpo. Breakfast not included for certain rooms.
Overall, the hotel was nice with great amenities. It seemed as if the hotel was recently remodeled and overall had a great appearance.

Very nice. 3 min walk to subway.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Even the hotel looks little old. They keep it very clean and comfortable. Short walk to subway, that take you almost everywhere in Taipei.
