"Fantastic service, gorgeous views, great location"
The staff went out of their way to make your experience positive and memorable! Our view from our bed was of the lagoon and ocean, couldn't have been more beautiful. The facility is smaller than fellow resorts and keeps a personal feel about it, no overcrowding. Food was excellent, beach was groomed multiple times a day for barefoot safety and they had the only protected ocean swimming area, safe from boats and jet skis. The room layout was large and luxurious with a unique spacious bathroom. We personally saw them save sea turtle eggs for their preservation project onsite. The staff all spoke English, but kindly entertained tutoring us in our poor Spanish speaking with enthusiasm.

Pocket Guide: Zihuatanejo, Ixtapa Spa Hotels

On the Pacific Coast of Guerrero, Mexico, the city of Zihuatanejo has worked hard to retain its “village” look and feel. Many downtown streets are still paved with cobblestones, and zoning laws prohibit buildings over 4 stories. A brick-paved beachfront promenade runs along Playa La Madera and Playa Principal to the pier, and all beaches along the bay are safe for swimming.
