I have stayed here before and it was ran down. Holiday inn has completely remodeled the property and hired new staff. It was a very pleasant stay this time with very helpful staff.

I’ve lived in the area for over 50 years but moved away about 5 years ago. I returned for a sick relative and needed a place that was QUIET and clean. This facility is in the process of being remodeled extensively so almost everything is new. I loved it. The staff was very accommodating even at the early morning hours I needed assistance. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars across the board is the listing said “sound proof walls” or something similar but there was the inevitable loud mouth in the next room and whatever soundproofing was used wasn’t enough to muffle him. The bathroom was spacious, shower head had 3 functions and was tall enough to cover my entire body. The room had a small microwave and mini fridge (no freezer) which was really handy. I also liked the small keys/cell phone shelf and coat hooks by the door. Extremely convenient. Bed had 2 soft and 2 hard pillows for whatever worked for me.

Life is never perfect
We arrived to find the whole facility being remodeled to become a Holiday Express Inn and Suites. We were greeted with apologies for the conditions and a real effort to make our stay comfortable in spite of the situation. We will be back next year for another stay about the same time of year.

Would of been nice to know that the whole outside and lobby was under construction and looked absolutely nothing like what was shown. The lobby was nothing but dry wall. Got into the rooms, thought they were good until we found bugs in the bed, the bathroom fan didn't work, there was no hair dryer, and even though they have smart tvs you can't actually use that function. Then in the morning, they said they had bagged breakfast but never received anything.

First of all this was a non refundable property. Second when we arrived it was under vomplete remodel and construction. It was advertised as having a pool(with pictures) and hot breakfast(agaon with pictures) and neither were availabke or vommunicate don their official website or expedia. When confonted, they would not refund, upgrade room, or take any amount of stay off. We WILL NOT be back to this hotel and advise calling.

Beware - Under Renovation
Hotel was being renovated. The whole reason we wanted to stay there was because it had a pool which was closed due to the renovations. We were supposed to get a continental breakfast as well but their kitchen was also closed for renovations. This was not listed anywhere when I booked the room. When we got there to check in, they wanted to charge me an additional 250 on top of the 360 I already paid because they had just updated the room we were staying in and this was insurance against any damages to the new room. I just wanted a nice weekend with my kids. Not to be robbed of $600 for an2 night stay at a hotel that was completely torn apart. Not happy at all.

The entire hotel is under construction. I was not made aware of it. They are only using the downstairs rooms and still working around them. They start construction at 7:30am. They offer a breakfast. If thats what you want to call it. Its a brown lunch bag with a fruit and a granola bar. I expressed my concerns about how poorly this was handled and they looked at me like i was a problem. I will not book here again.

The hotel was undergoing some construction at the time so there was a lot of dust and some of the services were unavailable. I could have tolerated that, but then somebody barged into my room at 8am (without knocking), apparently unaware the room was occupied. Instead of apologizing and leaving, he stood there and asked me when I would be checking out. It was 8am - checkout was at noon! Needless to say, I checked out immediately and won/t be going back. Other than that the room was OK.

The room was clean and newly remodeled. But the rest of the building was a construction area. No pool, no hot tub, no breakfast room. A bag with tiny apple, tiny muffin, and a granola bar. Should have posted that it’s being renovated and most services are not available.

Absolutely ridiculously poor service!
The huge deposit that was not disclosed to me at the time of booking and the incredibly horrible construction mess with drywall dust covering everything is unacceptable. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Deposits and construction should be revealed at the time of booking so cupcake make informed decisions where they want to stay. This is the first time I have used Hotels.com and it will be the last.

We chose the hotel to be able to swim with grandchild. The water was freezing and the lights were not turned on. Towels were super small. Breakfast was handed to us in a bag and the coffee was cold.
