One of a kindPosted Nov 1, 2017
Pros: Our room was extraordinary, especially for the affordable cost. Diner was fun and general quirky feel. Location was a huge factor as well.
Cons: Nothing I am aware of.
Location: Located right on the entrance to Zion Nat'l Park. I'm sure there are hiking/outdoor activities nearby as well, we weren't there long enough to explore
After a week on the road we had a few final days planned at Zion. I had looked this hotel up months before and booked it based on reviews and affordability. We rolled in just as it was getting dark and saw the sign reading "Home of the Ho-Made Pies". Ok. I am a fan of plays on words. We checked in and were told he were booked in the "special" room. I wasn't sure if that was a genuine statement or meant in a derogatory sense, but wow our room was beautiful. Clean seemingly brand new considering the age of the hotel, and very elegantly decorated with wooden crown molding and furniture. Probably one of the highlight locations of our trip through Arizona, Utah and California. We then went to the diner located within the main building and enjoyed good food, beers, and a ho-made pie. Yummy. The bathroom was very spacious and arranged in a minimally pleasing way. Tub/shower was huge, with a high-flow shower head and the shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion was in dispersion unit hung on the wall in the shower. I liked the ease of use and minimal waste that was a product of it. There is also a gas station next door so you can get food, drinks etc for your trip to Zion. Jacuzzi was right outside our back entrance. Quiet blissful place. The literature at our table in the diner told of a long and rich history that created the place and an explanation of the "Ho-Made Pies". Apparently the original owner ran out of space on the signage. There's a golf course on location as well. Lovely.

Nice hotel close to Zion’s east entrancePosted Oct 26, 2017
We stayed at this hotel because of the favorable guest rating. That proved to be accurate. The room was spacious, decorated with lovely rustic log furniture, clean, and quiet. We couldn’t of asked for anything further. Very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Convenient to all the ParksPosted Oct 23, 2017
The hotel was nice and clean with a great restaurant. It was nice to come back to after a long day at the parks. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant which was very good. We also took out their cinnamon rolls for a mid morning snack. I could have had more. The trout almondine was delicious.

Very good hotelPosted Oct 17, 2017
We stayed 2 nights. Our room was very spacious. 2 X large armchairs, king size bed, table and chairs heaps of space. The bath room was modern with a separate bath and shower. The room was well equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

On the way to ZionPosted Oct 17, 2017
Large room and pretty clean. Comfortable beds. The walls are thin; we could hear our noisy neighbors. The hotel staff were painfully slow. The kurig machine was broken. All in all, it was fine.

Best furniture ever.Posted Oct 15, 2017
This hotel has allowed it's furniture custom made locally from 4" logs making it a quirky delight compared to the blandness of other hotels and motels.
