Excellent location if you wish to visit Zionsville

Posted Jul 21, 2016
Pros: Location & Great walking score to visit Zionsville. Great breakfast at Patrick's downstairs and free beverages & snacks available 24/7.
Cons: Better pillows would be nice. Theirs are small and very hard.
Location: Zionsville is a lovely, town, great for walking to restaurants, shopping and neighborhoods to view the gardens and lovely old homes.
I came in for two days to meet up with my daughter for a visit. Our room was nice size and very clean.

Eat, sleep, drink & be merry!

The little town of Zionsville, IN, where the hotel is located, will leave you wishing you could live there too. If you need a small getaway to relax...this is the place to go! Quaint artistic shops, trendy restaurants, wine cellars and brick paved streets. You won't be sorry you went! Our ONLY complaint, we were in room #4, right above the kitchen, which got started promptly at 6:30 a.m. every morning. Wake up! ;)

Christmas EveEve 2015

Pros: Quaint, beautiful, quiet.
Cons: Chairs in the room for sitting. Better directions for arrival...which door to use, what to do when the doors are all locked.
Location: Quaint town with shops surrounding...picture perfect!
Pouring rain and doors locked made for a soggy arrival. The room was beautiful and comfortable but no chairs for sitting. The woman in the bar that served us a glass of wine was lovely, kind and attentive! We would stay again!

We appreciate your comments and will update our confirmation letter to include ringing the bell when arriving at the back registration door. Our building is locked for guest security and once checked in guest's are given a code to open the doors, but the posted sign on the covered back entry does say to ring the bell.

If you stay here, avoid room #4

Posted Sep 7, 2015
Room #4 is apparently right above the restaurant's hood ventilation system, is very loud and vibrates all night long!! When we checked out we were asked how the room was and so we told about the noise/vibration. We were told matter-of-factly about the ventilation system. No apologies, no offers of anything to make up for it, just an "oh yeah, that room" type response. So disappointing for over $200 on a one night stay to start our Anniversary trip. Hotel is pretty and clean, just no customer service and full knowledge of this subpar room. They know about it but just hope no one complains too much. Doesn't matter though, you've ready paid.

We appreciate your taking the time to let us know about your stay. Room Four is above the kitchen and also on the wall with the outside HVAC units and exhaust. It is however, one of 2 queen rooms that are available. The hum from the outdoor units and exhaust hood when the kitchen opens each morning can be heard, but some of our guests actually prefer the white noise. My sincere apologies that it disturbed you.

B&B with all you need

Posted Aug 11, 2015 on Hotels
We were arriving late due to a change in time zones that we didn't realize. But the staff was so helpful. They gave us the code to the back door and allowed us to "officially" check-in the next morning. The rooms are stocked with all you need for a comfortable stay. The only problem is you may not want to get out of bed in the morning because they are so comfortable. They have a coffee station and a fridge with drinks and snacks. The location in the small town is good too. Patrick has a restaurant downstairs that has tasty preserves compliments of his wife's secret recipe! If we are ever in Indy again we will stay here.

Friendly, personal small hotel

Posted Jul 27, 2015
I don't like the sterility of chain hotels, so Brick House Inn was a nice find. I was visiting Indianapolis to watch my daughter play in a national soccer tournament. My bed was very comfortable and the room was cozy and very clean. I appreciated the small trail mix snack cups and assorted beverages available to guests. The staff was personable and helpful. The amenities are not what you'd get at a larger downtown hotel (e.g. HDTV, pool, fitness facility) but the small town charm and ease more than made up for it.

We enjoyed our one-night stay in this beautiful historic inn. Great beverage and snack center. Central to historic downtown Zionsville.
