Good experience, however they should improve in two things: - the wi-fi servise, as i was staying at the last floor (11th) the wifi service was poor, i was never able to connect if we wanted to get connected we had to go to pool area because if not we never would be able to connect. - the parking service, we had to pay an additional fee each day, i think this is something also to improve.

Excellent experience as well as the food! The only situation It would be a nice to have is the parking, as all the guests need to pay a fee per each day in order to be parked in their place

Ritz Acapulco = Fawlty Towers.

Posted Nov 9, 2017
Pros: Most of The Staff here were friendly & more than willing to help e.g. Carmillo the waiter,Luis Angel & Arcilla Front Desk & Customer Relations,
Cons: I had 2000+ Pesos stolen from me by a employee when I left my Luggage for storage/safe keeping this is totally unacceptable & deplorable behaviour!
I spent a week at The Ritz in Acapulco October 28-November 4 2017 here's my own opinion of what I think of this Resort overall.I arrived here with an open mind of what to expect I thought this would be on a similar level like the Fontan Ixtapa or Las Palmas in Puerto Vallarta which I've both stayed at sadly it couldn't even match either of those basic Mexican Hotels in terms of most services. The Rooms are big no frills and functional but dated with sometimes electrical problems I was moved from Room 621 to 724 because the Air Conditioning didn't work only to have to have an electrician fix lighting in the new room I had been given plus unlike just about other normal Hotel in Mexico they don't give you a free bottle of water on a day to day basis..why? ,The Food at the Hotel was at best average and i'm being kind in this assessment there wasn't much variety there on a daily basis and why don't they have a few toasters for bread I think those other Resorts I mentioned had this. The Hotel would benefit greatly from modernization of The property as a whole e.g. Rooms are badly in need of renovation.I think they do more retro upgrading of Resorts in The Caribbean like in Barbados,The Bahamas or even Cuba than they seem to do to some of these older Mexican Resorts. I'm sorry it's not all about profit and ringing that cash cow for every Peso customer comfort should be a consideration factor it takes more than to keep a Hotel competitive than a lick of paint and varnish.

They have a great service but the hotel is too old they need to remodel the rooms and it will be excellent, food and drinks are great and the access to the beach is perfect.

Customer service did not go above and beyond to m

Posted Nov 10, 2016
Pros: Customer service did not go above and beyond to make sure that our itinerary was fixed internally he went back-and-forth with arrow Mexico but did not resolve the issue the problem is that when the rest of vacation was made the itinerary only specified The connecting flights at no point did itinerary tell us that we had a short time in between flights it was not until we got into the airport that we noticed that the flight changes were made the original flight was connecting was to leave at 11:45 AM from Acapulco to Mexico City and all of a sudden we see the change made at 7 o'clock in the morning which would have given us no time at all whatsoever we would have to get up at 5 AM or earlier in order to get to the airport we were very unsatisfied and we called Expedia Expedia said they could not do anything they were for other flights available but they said they could not make the changes so I had to make the changes with aero Mexico and they were able to change to a later flight the problem is that Expedia and the airline did not communicate properly prior to making the connecting flights we have a problem with that we have always had our reservations made through Expedia we will no longer do this anymore this was a lot of weight in the airport we had to wait eight hours in the airport we will never do this again Expedia I believe could have made arrangements with the airline directly without us having to go through all this this is not correct the original reservation
