Pleasantly Surprised

Pros: Exceptional value, helpful staff, decent food, clean common areas, and room.
Cons: Maybe a few more options, but it wasn’t a big deal to us.
We have never stayed here before, (we usually stay at a higher end hotel) We were greeted quickly, by helpful, friendly staff. We up graded to an ocean view room. The room was clean, and pleasant. There is one restaurant that has, burgurs, fries, fish tacos, etc during the day. Then in the evening with reservations,... has table service, and small stage show. The buffet for breakfast, had lots of options, and drink table service. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! Convenient to locations,...town, golf courses, shopping. Hotel is on hotel row, but at end of culdusac, so NO road noise.

Amazing customer service

I loved everything about my stay. Hotel employees are so nice, especially Mario at the desk, and dinner server (Sebastian I guess ). Food wasn’t perfect but good. Wifi was terrible tho. I’d come back again.

Nice hotel at great price

Pros: The best part was the food and staff. They were both amazing.
Cons: Room condition.
Our overall experience was good. We got a good last-minute deal for our anniversary at a very reasonable price. We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel condition was not great.. but we were not expecting a lot for the price. The best part was the food and staff. They were both amazing. There were two food options: buffet and à la carte. The buffet had decent items for lunch but pretty good options for dinner. The desserts were top quality. The food quality, presentation and view of the à la carte restaurant were very good. We fell in love with the Fish of the Day preparation. Each and every hotel staff was courteous, helpful and cheerful. Our overall experience at this hotel makes us feel to go back for more trips.

Some of the best and worse staff I ever met!

The bartender Stella was amazing I loved her so much! But the rest of the staff were so rude and treated us like more like an inconvenience rather than a guest! I would not go back!

Decent Hotel in San Jose! Close to everything!

The hotel overall is nice but lacks in some of the perks other All-Inclusive hotels nearby offer, such as a mini-bar! The Breakfast was good & grounds/rooms were clean! I didn't experience Dinner. It's a good choice for anyone watching their wallet but there are others next door that are noticeably better if you care to spend a few more bucks!

NO SMOKING - NO SWIMMING

Pros: Tacos at the ranchon, the staff
Location: Near the old San José, 20 min walk
Can't smoke anywhere on the site except at the beach, if they catch you they fine you $100. You know it only when you arrive at the hotel. Should be tell before your booking. You can't swim in front of the hotel

Nice hotel, terrific food, great staff!

Cons: Nothing the hotel can do about it but, the ocean is not really swimmable. Red flags out every day. Big waves, strong undertow.
The staff was all so very attentive and always helpful. The food was amazing! Once I tried the fish tacos, I came back every day at lunch to have them again. Great family hotel, quiet location. Entertainment nightly, always enjoyable.

The food was less quality than last year I was very disappointed the restaurant quality of food was good It was a slow time so they cut back on services I really enjoyed this place but not sure if I’ll come back mainly because of the food but it is a very quiet serene landscaping a great place to R&R
