Quiet beach

Nice hotel, biggest disappointment was the elevator was gone. Not Broke/gone?? Place has too many steps for elderly and really an inconvenience. Food was blah..what NO BACON at breakfast. Had to ask every morning. Stuff must be like gold there. They never had it out first thing in the morning. Only found it once in 7 days and had to ask for it. Julio was an awesome waiter at dinners and Felix was the best bartender at the upper pool. Hats off to those guys.

Small with family atmosphere

Pros: Friendliness and willingness to help by all staff.
Cons: Didn't like having to pay extra for wifi, room safe and steam/sauna room at the spa when it is an all-inclusive property.
Location: Walking distance to Cabo Dolphin tours, shopping, grocery and restaurants.
Everyone went out of their way to be helpful! Need a box lunch as you won't be available for breakfast? No problem they will have food waiting for you at the registration desk. Won't be available to make reservation for Moon restaurant? No problem, check with the staff the night before. Every little or big request was met with the same answer, no problem, we can help you with that. Food was good, not a wide selection but for a small resort you trade the ambiance for options. Would definitely stay again.

Older hotel, renovated to nice.

Staff was great, food was good for most part, facility was older and our A/C had to be repaired each day. Hotel could used more ceiling fans in lobby near the TV bar. Felt very safe in the area and the locals were very nice and helpful.

Staff is amazing!

Small, clean, quiet, safe and the staff is what makes this hotel great! The only recommendation I would give is the variety of the food and the restaurants itself. They only have one buffet and one ala carte (Luna). And they rarely changed up the menu for the ala carte dinner. I would recommend this hotel for someone on a budget, but I probably won’t come back here as I like to try out different hotels each stay. Overall, for the price I paid this hotel was worth it!

Bad Food; Look for a different resort

Pros: The staff is friendly, the pools are ok. The rooms are ok. Got a beach massage and that was probably the best thing in the resort.
Cons: The food needs to improve. It's a small buffet with limited options and those options have to get a lot better. The food was a major turn off.
Location: Location, I think we went on a bad time. We went on October and the beaches were not accessible (black flag). There's a dolphin place walking distance
From my experience seemed like an ok resort. Room was ok, cleanliness was ok. Overall the resort was on the small end with only 1 buffet and 1 other restaurant. The buffet was very small with very limited option and the food was bad honestly. You get to the point you're only putting food into your stomach just to have food and you're eating it because you feel guilty from already paying for it. That's not what an all inclusive resort should feel like. The 1 other restaurant has to be reserved and the food there is actually decent. But 1 decent meal out of the day is just not good enough for a resort. The staff are however very friendly. As I mentioned the room was passable. But overall it's just not a resort that I would recommend. I would highly recommend looking for a different resort.

Disappointed

The first room we were given had a damaged door lock to the patio and in our traveling companions room the outlets didn’t work. The next day we were given another room and it was nice and clean, but the lights were so dim in the bathroom it looked like all we had was a night light. Our sleep was constantly interrupted with early morning mowing or furniture being moved above from us. They only have rwo restaurants; one you have to make reservations for and the other is a buffet. The poolside restaurant, Luna offers snack from I believe 2-5pm we went one day at 4:15 and were give 3 menus instead of 4, when we placed our order we were told there were only 3 items available to order. So why didn’t they say so. We were extremely disappointed but we each ordered 4 of each of the items available. When our order came it was 2 orders of quesadillas and 2 Caesar salads and when we asked where the rest was we were told that was all they had left. The hotel was maybe halfway occupied and it only has 150 rooms there shouldn’t be any reason for them to run out of food . The bars we constantly running out of alcohol and they would not replace it even upon asking. Our companion went to the manager of the hotel to complain 2 days later upon checking out and giving them a bad review she came out to talk to us. She stated she had been looking for us but couldn’t find us. She had our reservation and room numbers, all she had to do was drop a note through the door and tell us how to find her.
