I stayed at this hotel on the same trip a year ago, the hotel then was great but the service in the restaurant and bar, where we made several orders was very poor. I politely notified the front desk at checkout and they apologized , didn’t offer any comp or gratuity to me- so I blew it off, decided to give it another shot and at checkin this year the front desk staff was short with me, but offered the guest next to me every single perk in the book! Free breakfast, discounted room, upgraded room… just felt crazy to return again as the hotel exerted zero effort to make me feel like a welcome guest, after I’d payed full price for everything last year and now again
