Avoid in Summer
Be very careful about staying here in the summer. Not only do they not have AC, they only have a heavy comforter. And you'll have to open up the windows and hear an extremely busy street that is very loud. Location is convenient, but good luck getting a good night's sleep if you stay here in the summer.

It is very reasonable priced. Bed is good and rooms are basic. There were multiple reception staff. One of them was particularly rude towards me. On the first encounter, he rudely asked my room number which I provided. On the second encounter he asked my room number again, which I provided. I got accused for providing him a different room number than the day before. He rudely insisted that I showed him my room key. That really ruined the last night.

I’m shocked expedia even offers this hotel to its users. I have been using expedia for years and I have never ever thought a disturbingly unclean, and deeply rude hotel staff would somehow end up becoming an option on the website. Hotel is old, unclean, everything smells and it is acceptable for the hotel staff so they don’t even bother cleaning anything. I recommend people to stay away from this establishment.

So we came to the hotel after a long flight with our big luggages and was told to look for a parking in the streets since they only have 4 parking space in their hotel and all have been taken and paid for. 30-45 mins later, no luck in looking for a parking space. Went to the hotel to check in and we were told they don’t see our reservation in their system. Reception guy told us that their other hotel ( Hotel Stroller) can accommodate us for the night. They initially said that they have parking and we can park anytime, and will be given the same rate like our booking from Travelocity (2 rooms instead of 1 junior suite room like what we booked from travelocity good for 4. This hotel does not have Junior suite rooms) but the reception guy said if we stay longer they will charge us 210 CHF (approx $220) per room. So we decided that we are not going to stay anymore due to higher room rates ($420/night for 2 rooms) The next morning, we surrendered our keys and that’s when they told us that they will charge us 30CHF for the parking.???Beware of this hotel. There were 3 guests that have reservations online from the same hotel but ended up being transferred to their other hotel (Hotel Stroller) to give the guests higher room rates. I don’t think this is a mistake or isolated case. Of course, you will jump into the higher price room if you don’t have any place to stay for the night. DO NOT BOOK IN THIS HOTEL. They don’t have parking space and they lie to their guests. Scam alert.
