Always clean and friendly staff. Nice and close to the airport without plane noise. Good shuttle to and from the airport. I always stay here when I can get a reasonable deal, but all hotels in Zurich are expensive. The beds are a little hard for my taste but I travel with a foam pad.

je pense que c est un des meilleurs hotels a Zurich. sa location est très proche de l'aéroport ou vous pouvez passer au centre facilement par le train, tramway. la reception est très chaleureuse, ils vous offrent une coupe de champagne; la chambre est super. ma note pour eux est vraiment excellente. merci

Convenient, close to the airport

Cons: More people at the desks when you check in or out. I had to wait a long time when I checked out , and was getting nervous about arriving at the airpor

Standard room, good restaurant. Nice personal (although I wasn't offered the "senkt" this year when I check in!)

Close to airport

We selected this hotel based on its proximity to the airport. There is a courtesy vehicle that runs every 30 minutes to/from the airport and allows access not only to the shopping/food area of the airport centre, but also to the train that goes to downtown Zurich ( a 10 minute ride). The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We paid a discounted amount at check in to benefit from the breakfast buffet the morning of our departure. The buffet was well worth the price and had generous selections of both hot and cold items - all of which was fresh. The Movenpick was exactly what we had requested and expected of an airport hotel - clean, efficient and convenient.

Ok hotel if your goal is being close to airport

Pros: It was less than 5 minutes from the airport
Cons: Check in service, cleanliness of room
Location: There is nothing close by to the hotel except the airport.
We chose this hotel because it offered a free shuttle to & from the airport. I can honestly say that is the only thing I enjoyed about the experience. When we arrived, it took almost 20 minutes to check in. The hotel staff member almost tried to charge me a second time, even though I had already paid through expedia. Our reservation was for a queen bed. We got a handicapped room (which was not an issue) but the room only had a double bed. We were told that they were completely booked and could not change the room. The bathroom shower had long dark hair on the floor where someone did not clean properly. I also would say that, like everywhere in Switzerland, the prices for food and beverages were ridiculously overpriced for what you get. We did not eat in the restaurant but coffee was 5 francs for about 4 oz of not very good coffee.

A disappointment of a Movenpick

Pros: Proximity to the airport and convenient access to downtown.
Location: Not much to do nearby. For that you have to go to the city center which is easily reachable through public transport.
The room was depressing. The air conditioning was not working. The TV worked sometimes - only the first 5 channels worked on the night we checked in. The bathroom did not have shampoo. When I called the housekeeping they said it was not the hotel's policy to provide shampoo in the bathroom!

Super freundlich !

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Betreuung. Keine einstudierten Floskeln, sondern ganz natürliche Betreuung, so dass man sich direkt wohl fühlt und entspannt ist. Toller Empfang. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr gut ausgestattet und haben eine angenehme Größe. Für kurze Geschäftsreisen auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
