“Room assigned when we arrived had not been cleaned nor the bed made up. After calling the front desk the clerk examined another room and we stayed there for our three days”

“服务很好，酒店整体很整洁。房间设施很齐，冰箱，洗碗机，微波炉，电磁炉，咖啡壶。应该是洗碗机有啥设置问题，隔一分钟左右响一声，不会关掉，比较烦。床品和毛巾略有些老，没到影响使用，但是感觉有点对不起酒店的等级吧。”

“Peaceful location. Nice bright large room. Very comfotable beds with plenty of pillows. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Food selections more than adaquate.”

“Pros: The property itself is visually very nice and has a lot of potential. Cons: The lack of modernization is starting to show. My biggest concern was the lighting; many areas of the property are quite dark at night, which felt like a significant safety issue. Additionally, be prepared for a lot of stairs. If you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns, navigating the layout is difficult. Bottom Line: It’s a lovely setting, but it really needs an upgrade in terms of lighting and accessibility……

“Electricity in our room was not working. The room was not checked before we checked in. We could not open bedroom windows to get fresh air, since bedroom was small and not fresh. There was a weird sound in the room like tık tik tik. İt was coming from the floor or wall woods. We could not understand the source but it was disturbing in the middle of the night. It was a small noice but disturbing in the silence of the night.”

“The Wayside more than met our expectations for early American historic properties. It has a broad selection of antique-filled bedrooms that are clean and comfortable. The public spaces vary from an 18th century log tavern encased in the younger early 19th century spaces with elegant Victorian parlors, all immaculately dusted. “Our first room was not cleaned when we went in so they moved us to another room. In the new room there was no body wash in the shower. Breakfast was underwhelming with limited options and what was there was dry and tasted old. There were no towels in the pool area and when asked they brought hand towels not even big enough to dry off a 6 year old! Not the experience we are used to for this brand of hotel. ”

“The owners were very gracious and accommodating to our needs. Great breakfasts and gave us new food options. They were also very informative of the historical information of the area that greatly helped research of family history.”

“We really enjoyed a relaxing stay here. It is located in lovely VA farm/vineyard country with beautiful views from various rooms in the Manor. The accommodations and common areas where beautifully appointed. We didn't have dinner there but the breakfast was substantial and very good (fresh eggs from their chickens apparently!). The staff was warm and gracious always anticipating our needs. They even had a Lucid EV charger that they allowed us to use prior to leaving to allieve my range……
