“This was my first time booking in Birmingham and I used google review to book this room. I was absolutely shocked that the reviews on this hotel were so high. Although the outside of the property was well maintained, the inside was horribly disappointing. The suite we stayed in was old, dirty and smelled musty. Had this been a refundable booking, we would definitely have not stayed. The walls were dirty. The alarm clock had disgusting grime on the chord. The carpet was almost sticky feeling;……

“1st-assigned a room, it was occupied 2nd-got new room. Staff was confused and woke us after midnight LOUDLY and wondered why the first room THEY assigned us was occupied. ?. 3rd-staff had no idea who was occupying first assigned room. 4th- we did get 2 free brekky coupons. We had to hunt down the cook, the beverages, and our order. The same loud staff that woke us after midnight struggled to remember an orange juice order for over 44 minutes. 5=poorly managed and ignorant staff made our stay……
