“Shindzela offers the type of safari experience that is sadly dying out, to be replaced by glitzy, costly options that separate visitors from the real bush. Our guide was excellent; calm & professional even when another group was shrieking and whooping (TIP, wild animals prefer quiet). Our tracker was keen-eyed, polite and focussed. The cooking/cleaning staff clearly took pride in their work. I feel Shindzela is excellent value for money and should form a part of many more travellers' trips.……

“The owner of the lodge, West, is the perfect host. We arrived at the property and were immediately shown our very nice tent. The tent has all you can wish for, outside shower even. Then West cooked a Braai for us and told numerous stories from his time as a ranger. When the news came some wild dogs were in the area, he invited us immediately to join him for the search and drove us around the estate to find them. Lastly, the Lions are amazing and walking with them is a truly unique experience.”

“It was a great surprise! The hotel is in a very nice area, close to the Kruger Park and the airport. Dewan makes us feel at home. The common areas are so nice and cosy! The room is very nice and confortable. Taking a shower watching the stars was priceless! I would strongly recommend Sunset Game Lodge! It's a.pmace were we can feel at home, with comfort. Prepare our food in the great kitchen and living room after returning from the safari with our friends. Watch the great view and have……

“Me and my boyfriend had an incredible time at Umlani Bushcamp. The guests, staff, ranger, tracker, hosts and everyone else involved was really nice, and there was such a welcoming atmosphere. We saw a lot of incredible wildlife, and it was a trip I will fondly remember. The drives are comfortable and exciting. We stayed for two nights, and my only regret is not staying longer. 3-4 nights would have been perfect. We loved the fact there was a rustic feel to the place without the readily available……

“Our stay at Pezulu Tree House was amazing! The staff was super friendly and helpful. And what an extraordinary experience to sleep in a tree house. We booked 2 whole-day tours in the Kruger park, a morning “Off the Beaten Track” and a Sunset tour with Akani, who is very talented, knowledgeable about wildlife and has laser eyes to spot animals in the far distance! The other highlight was the dining experience with great food in front of a fire pit. We definitely would love to come back !”
