“The hotel has an understated elegance - historical, lovely, but not stuffy or “over the top.” We stayed in a junior suite which was generously sized and had a very comfortable sofa and arm chair. One of the things we enjoyed most was the piano music every evening at 5:30, except for Sundays. Very comfortable lounge seating and the option of food with your drinks. Hotel is perfectly located in the middle of town with easy access to the river walk and restaurants.”

“This is, by far, one of the greatest stays we have ever had! The cabin was brand new and was impeccable from the bathroom to the living space, to the pizza grill. The mini kitchenette was stocked with everything we would need, including beautiful local pottery and glassware. “The facility is beautiful, but there is no visibility of staff. We had several mechanical issues with dishwasher, washing machine and the Internet. We were able to resolve the Internet issue. But the dishwasher was never fixed during the four nights we stayed and our clothes. Locked in the washer. We could not get anyone to come and fix so we had to leave our items there. It’s been two weeks and I still haven’t heard back from anyone to retrieve my belongings.”
